@Acer-m14 I really like the look of the two rifles with the non-traditional handguards. I just don't like henrys tube loading magazine. I prefer sideloading like on the Marlins. What I'm in the market for is a 44 Magnum the partner up with my revolver.
I have a 44mag revolver, and i want a 44 lever gun go with it for hunting. But I also intend to buy a 357 and I know the 357 is good enough for deer hunting. I think about shtf when it comes to buying guns, and what kind of ammo is more common, and in this case it would be 357, so i may opt to get the lever gun in 357. This is Marlins new 357 that should be out soon.I agree with @Celt a sideloader would be more tactical as you can top it off with one chambered! Would not want to do that with a tube-loader.
My choice would be 357 mag to go along with my revolver!

side loading for the win
Top eject though, which is why I would have bought a 336 if I didn't get the 1894 for free.
That's fair. I should've pointed out mine is a .30-.30 with a side mounted scope, with which I have a love/hate relationship.
That somehow manages to look good.View attachment 28486 I think it looks good, but i prefer Marlins.

Some people do like the tube fed system, I would just prefer to do away with it all together, or at least offer a model without it. But that's just me. I think their guns are really nice looking but I just can't get past that type of feeding system.@Celt .. i agree on the tube loading .. If Henry could do both .. tube and side load that would rock .. first load with tube .. quick and easy .. no under any threat .. then top up loads from the side ... for them wild pigs charging ..
