What does TS even sell? I'm trying to get on their Website and I keep getting an error message saying my IP is blocked because it's in NY.
I thought it was always like this? If you buy ammo online I thought it has to go to the FFLYou got me. I went around creating different usernames and posting these screenshots in different forums. Get real.

They go back and forth. Right now they are.Wth is BGC? Bad Girls Club? I am so confused, this whole time I could've boughten discount ammo online and have it shipped to my house?
GOD DAMMITBackground check. Yes. You could have bought ammi online. The problem is after the Unsafe Act passed in 2013, they never implemented a system for BGC's so the law cannot be implemented yet the state still harasses online merchants.
Soooo, all of those websites about the ammo getting shipped to a FFL are a lie?Forget all this crap. TS is now shipping to us again. I placed an order 12/22 for a couple hundred rounds of goodness. Was delivered the other day unmolested by New York.
Order away Boys! Party's on!
YesSoooo, all of those websites about the ammo getting shipped to a FFL are a lie?
Just like this:Not one of those so called posts from TS contain an order number, nor do they identify and address of the attempted purchase at least by Zip Code. Point is, TS has not stopped shipping to NY, but thanks for your concern.
The AG of NY has no authority outside its borders and cannot send a letter, order or anything to anyone regardless which has any teeth, if so, don't you think they'd tell all those evil feature manufacturers to stop producing in case they ended up in NY? If it wanted, it could try to effectuate a Federal Complaint as what TS is engaged in is Interstate Commerce, lol. The AG of NY "could" try and obtain a client list of those who received shipments form TS in NY, but then again, the wording in the Safe Act requires the BG system to be in place for the ammo component to be in effect. In addition, the NYSP is "REQUIRED" to provide notification that the system is in place and "OPERATIONAL" prior to the clause being in effect. So, yeah, go ahead, keep feeding the trolls that somehow or another the AG told just "one" vendor, to stop. And lastly, for all the sheeple worried about this, the Safe Act contains requirements of the "seller" not the purchaser in this regard, so even if a vendor ships to you, you have no culpability, so relax.
Edit to add: please educate me how the AG can notify a commercial enterprise outside its State Borders to cease and desist an activity which is not unlawful? Please explain so I may learn...
Lmao...
that was 2006Just like this:
New York City Sues 15 Gun Dealers in 5 States, Charging Illegal Sales
If you are running a business, how many of these lawsuits do you think you can afford to win ?
Since it is an AG suing you in their official capacity, good luck getting any kind of money in a countersuit.
So what happened with this case? Specifically in terms of the filing in NYS, not any evidence turned over to the ATF?Just like this:

The office of the AGNY can and does send letters to other states everyday, they may go to that states AG, a company doing business in NY, usually both. They may even contain what some might reason as threats if certain conditions are not met. I am not a lawyer, but if you think this is not done you are being naive. What the content might be(?), that would depend on the circumstances. Just the threat, veiled or not, of litigation will get most any small business with limited resources to fold their tent and move on when the thought of being tied up in court against a government with virtually unlimited resources. And yes, if you do business in this state you can be subpoenaed from out of state, to this state, legally.

They can't legally do most of what they do. But they can use the power of the state to bully people into compliance all day long.Sorry, but no, the State of NY has absolutely NO Jurisdiction outside its borders, let alone when there is absolutely NO illegal activity to address. Laughable. Yes, they can send letters, and they go right in the garbage can. TS is not conducting business in NY, only shipping to residents here, legally.
Bloomberg era attempts do not apply, you need to post what happened to those operating "LEGALLY"... We are talking apples and oranges in this respect. Again, NY sent investigators to other States, they had no jurisdiction other than to then notify the State AG their findings and ask for action. That is entirely up to the State then in which the business is conducted. TS has millions of rounds in stock and dies a pretty brisk business all "LEGAL". There are defined and distinct differences to pawn shops selling guns, and other Gunshops selling guns unscrupulously but in that State, still legal.
Anyways, I'm done here (thread), enjoy the New Year Everyone, I wish health and happiness to all.

Hell, all of SAFE is them using the resources of the state to bully people in a way that could never withstand rigorous legal scrutiny.
Now that bogus email gave me my first laugh of the new year.
The claims made in some of the posts in this thread would be very informative if there was factual data to back up some of them. Mostly though this seems to me to be a just one big bullshit session with a bit of anxiety mixed into it due to the quasi-tyranny under which we live.
