Good. While I care little to get a bumpstock it’s great that they say the ATF can’t just make shit up and go rogue.

I agree here... it's a good thing to see its getting sorted out.
I have too little interest in bumpstocks. I just want to see NYers be able to carry again without their constitutional rights getting trampled.

I never even knew what a bumpstock was until AFTER Drump had them banned. Nonetheless, we have to care and fight for every part to a firearm, whether we don`t care for this one, or care more for that one. Because if not enough people care about ALL firearms parts, they will just keep rolling over us until EVERY part is banned. I say GOOD, for those that fought the fight for their bumpstocks. Bumpstocks aren`t nothing i want or need, but i`m in their corner to fight to keep what is rightfully theirs/ours to buy and own.

It goes beyond that. We have a very liberal president and he can instruct the AFT to ban all sorts of things. It’s good the see a judge say nope this isn’t an administrative instruction thing and has to go through Congress. I suspect the same thing will happen with student loans and possible the 80% receiver thing now.
I know Trump did the bumpstock thing but Biden could do more.

I`m pretty old, i may never live long enough to see it happen, but these little brainwashed twerps are going to be in there, soon. Time will surely tell. I agree I don’t expect it to get any easier especially with Biden importing 30,000 refugees from a few countries each month. Of course those countries are selected specifically to change the political landscape.

Nonsense. If guns are protected Arms, SCOTUS certainly has the power to state clearly and succinctly that accessories THAT ARE NOT GUNS IN AND OF THEMSELVES are perfectly lawful. They could specifically make an issue out of that by openly stating that they are explicitly giving guidance to the courts (and a smack down to the ATF), and assert (rightly) that adding accessories to guns (including bump stocks, sights, slings, bayonets, etc. ) are not only perfectly legal actions, but that such options are in FACT the prerogative of the People that they should not even have to rule on outside of legitimate governmental authority and responsibility derived from Interstate Commerce, Taxation, or other Federal powers and duties.
The idea that the Supremes would have to waste their time by taking suits on every possible accessory that could be added to a weapon, gun or not, is absurd.
Does it really make sense that the ATF could go after slings once they were smacked down on stocks, and the only way to make slings "legal" thereafter would be another lawsuit for something so fucking stupid? Apply that to iron sights, scopes, forward grips, etc.
As far as "Hello Kitty" on a receiver or other part of a firearm, that is clearly protected SPEECH and clearly covered by not only the First Amendment, but a very long and robust history of SCOTUS and lower court legal precedent.

Noticed tonight the sign at Walmart that says "Please refrain from open carrying of firearms" with "open carrying" emphasized with yellow print. I really wanna interpret that as legal concealed carry is allowed on the premises. Anyone with an opinion on this please weigh in....

I sincerely think that the "open carrying" being in yellow print authorizes legal concealed carry. Otherwise, why would they emphasize those 2 words? Maybe I'll email corporate. That’s how I interpret that sign at my local Walmart. They have made it clear that they support carrying just prefer you to conceal it for other customers.
