THIS is a prime example of what needs to happen when faced with that situation. By the time LE was able to arrive all that would be left to do is mop the blood off the floor. Other than the shitbag getting off a couple shots, it couldnt have ended any better.
Did They guy that shot the perp drop him with one shot? I couldn’t tell from the crappy small screen.
Not sure if you watched the video, but by that technique he got himself killed. You can't help others if you're dead. What if he was the only person in there carrying? It would have been much, much worse. Luckily others were also armed and took effective action. Not saying the guy wasn't brave, but it wasn't the right thing to do. Once you're dead you are a help to nobody.

I've watched it like 100 times now. I hear 3 shots total. Near as I can tell, the peep shoots the 1st guy drawing, then wounds the guy he was talking to, the the security guard drops the shooter 1 shot
Some reports are that 2 good guys got shots on target. Some say one.

Another man then pulls out a handgun and fires once, striking the shooter just as he turns toward the front of the room. Six seconds have elapsed since the shooter pulled out his gun.
After the gunman’s first shot, nearly everyone in the room startles, trying to find the source of the noise. As the gunman fires again, most of the worshippers begin ducking behind the pews, and a church leader standing on stage dives onto the floor.
Several people in the opposite corner run up the aisle toward an exit, leaving papers and a book scattered in their wake. One woman crawls. An older man, who has turned to watch what’s happening, hardly moves.

At the end, the are at least 4 or 5 parishioners with drawn pistols advancing to cover the downed murderer.
It’s sad to see that man be killed, he just took way too long to raise, he could’ve survived. RIP, god bless the state of Texas.

To be fair, hindsight is 20/20, but never draw on a drawn gun unless you have no other choice (IE, they're already shooting at you / around you.) If he had only waited a split second for the guy to turn he would've gotten a clean shot on him and ended it without innocent loss of life.

First, what did that numbnuts have to say to the person he approached first? And why did he even bother to strike up a conversation with him before going full retard?
Second, what cartridge was that pistol chambered for, and what ammo was the parishioner using when he shot the shooter, cuz the shooter folded like a bad poker hand.

This incident will disappear from the news ASAP. It doesn't fit the narrative they want to push.
During one of the recent mass shootings (I think the El paso shooting) I noticed a change in the lefts rhetoric they began parroting "where were the good guys with guns, they don't make a difference".
They don't want to show that good citizens can save lives and be responsible for themselves and others. They want us all as controlled sheep.
This story will all but vanish along with the heroic story of those Shepard's protecting their flock.
