According to the video the first victim, who tried to draw his gun and got killed, had about 3 seconds from the appearance of the shotgun to killer pulling the trigger. Fishing around for his gun in the small of his back seems to be what took up the most time.

Well, that wasn't birdshot.
The first guy may have not even been noticed if he had taken his pistol out while sitting. His fucking around with the IWB got him killed. I only use mine if I absolutely can not conceal my Safariland ALS. Definitely looked like a head shot, looks like you can see brain matter exiting his container in one frame. The second armed guy getting up after the perp was shot probably didnt want to get involved, you know the typical stand around and watch until someone else decides to help like at accident scenes. He could have ended this before the other two innocent people got shot.

He probably got in close and asked a question as a cover or distraction to pull the shotgun out.
You probably won't ever know what the good guy was carrying, but it appears like he landed a head shot so it could have been a .22 and it probably wouldn't have made any difference.
Never draw on the drop. You'll loose every time. The shooter was engaging the other usher then shot the other guy because he stood and made a drawing motion. Look up "draw on the drop". You'll find countless videos of it going wrong every time. Again, he did what he could in the moment, but had he been trained it could have been a different outcome. If he was the lone CC in there, they all would have been doomed.
The other thing I noticed is after the bad guy is shot the others come in with their guns drawn with no regard to cross-fire or sweeping everyone with their muzzles. If the shooter was still alive and putting up a fight it would have been very difficult for the original good guy to continue to shoot because the second guy in the red came down to the front and stood directly across from him.

A) That's a thought, he prob figured he could pull out his shotgun at least semi-discreetly, and have his back to the wall.
Although, I go to church every Sunday, and a complete stranger getting up and engaging a regular church-goer usually grabs my attention and...
B) I figured as much, and I was basically asking a rhetorical question.

Not exactly sure, but I saw at 1:50ish, a fat woman falling around and my attention was on her hiding and flopping on the floor trying to get under the pew. Then she reached up to grab her purse. Maybe there was a Twinkie and just wanted a snack.

Man. The first guy to get shot certainly wasn't in a hurry to get his gun out. Seems like he really thought the guy wouldn't shoot him if he made like he had some authority.
Leave the poor lady alone. I kinda feel bad for her.

Yeah, she made it. This should be a bitof a wake up call to people of her size. It took so long to hide, maybe she can use this incident as an opportunity to lose some weight and get in better shape so it is easier to hide.

Murderer with a shotgun stopped by a citizen with a concealed pistol. The killer's weapon was not an "assault weapon" and the Left hates concealed pistols. So, this scenario does not fit the Liberal Progressive narrative.
If the concealed carrier was not there, the murderer would have killed many more innocent people. He'd have had a shotgun in a free-fire zone where there was no cover available.

Was it just a parishioner that shot the bad guy, or was it security?
If it was the former then the story will quickly disappear.
If it was the latter, then they'll use this as an example of how only police and "certain well trained individuals" should be allowed to have guns.
CNN is already running with the "church security kills shooter" narrative. They are already making sure people don't realize that ANY of us can be the "good guy with the gun".
