Review Texas laws. Completely legal. As much as I'm glad the POS criminal is no longer around to possibly hurt/kill others I would imagine when someone is running away and your life is not in danger it sadly wouldn't be wise to shoot that individual, as vile as he may be. Driving off after also probably doesn't help his case.
Depends on where you are.As much as I'm glad the POS criminal is no longer around to possibly hurt/kill others I would imagine when someone is running away and your life is not in danger it sadly wouldn't be wise to shoot that individual, as vile as he may be. Understood. I guess my NY state of mind has damaged me lol.Review Texas laws. Completely legal.
In thinking about this a bit more it would be legal in NYS also ( in defense of a 3rd party, a stretch but technically legal) but I wouldn't even fathom attempting it in the NYS justice system.Understood. I guess my NY state of mind has damaged me lol.
I really have my doubts there would have been a catastrophic outcome. Real life is vastly different than the moviesDid he shoot when the gas pump was behind the perp? Could of ended badly
I'm sure the FBI will assist in finding the shooter. and demand prosecution.

Cash is KING and also still in (some) use. Never know. Not gonna be hard to cross reference that color Caddilkac CTS with credit/debit sales at that time stamp/location. Shooter might as well have held up a cardboard sign with his info on it for the camera. He’ll be easily identified.
Real life says the gas pump would have a couple holes punched in it, and the insurance would replace the parts.I really have my doubts there would have been a catastrophic outcome. Real life is vastly different than the movies
Very true, but there are so many more identifying factors from the video cash would only eliminate one piece of an already easy puzzle.Cash is KING and also still in (some) use. Never know.
So you mean to say shooting a lung blower-outer 9mm luger won't blow up a gas pump like it does in the movies?Real life says the gas pump would have a couple holes punched in it, and the insurance would replace the parts.
Worst case it hits something that actually carries fuel, then the attendant has to hit the emergency stop button for the pumps to keep it from making a mess all over the ground.
The inside of the pump is mostly *not* anything with fuel in it.
An actual fire would be a freak event.
No, that's reserved for high capacity clips on assault weapons of war that haven't ever been used in war silly: )So you mean to say shooting a lung blower-outer 9mm luger won't blow up a gas pump like it does in the movies?
When I pump gas, I have one hand on the nozzle, one on my EDC, and my head on a swivel.
Where does "flamethrower" fall on the stopping power chart....when i pump gas .. i have a lighter in my other hand ..
This is Texas, not NY.Why some folks would say this was wrong I have no idea. Guess they would change their mind if they were the victim. This was like double robbery. With the price of gas? It’s bad enough.
I wish the guy who intervened well. As we all know after the witch hunt,
It probably won’t go well for him. Especially cause he did something that was necessary and right.
