When I spent a few months in Mexico back in the 80s a local pulled in a 21 ft Hammerhead from the beach I swam at every day. (Pacific Coast 17 miles north of Guatemala) He had a 19ft boat. All Hands dug a big hole on the beach, buried the shark with all the ice in town. Next day flat bed took fish to market in Mexico City.
