I see my son sends a text that says, "You believe this shit?!" I got nervous to open it thinking someone drove into his vehicle or something. I opened the text and he took a photo of a flyer from college.

The sad part of this indoctrination is that these young minds are receiving a get out of jail free card to escape class with no repercussions. Most kids will take the bait. While doing this they're being brainwashed. Let's see these same kids express their commitment to this cause after classes end on a Friday night. It's being touted as a display of unity, and some other bullshit, feel good terms, but not an anti gun demonstration by the district. Why then are there preprinted letters to Cuomo and other lawmakers filled with incorrect MSM talking points being distributed for students to send? I can't openly dissent, but you can be sure when my students get back in class, I'll take advantage of the teachable moment and explain that they shouldn't believe everything they're fed by the media, and that yes, the media has an agenda, and yes, false information is often disseminated as fact, and that they should do their own research into problems, and the potential solutions instead of buying into everything they hear from the MSM.

We got the same letter. I decided not to throw a fit because there was no mention of "gun violence" like some of the other schools have mentioned.

Folks just in case you are not aware tomorrow March 14th is a planned walkout for students across the country. The time is 10:00am to 10:17am in honor of the 17 lives lost in Parkland.

Although I support the right to peaceful protest, it gives me concern when it is a well publicized event that exposes the children being outside the safety of inside the schools. I wanted to take a moment to put your mind at ease and advise that we have taken proactive measures to ensure their safety.

We have been coordinating with the four school administrations that we have Deputy Sheriffs assigned as School Resource Officers (York, Keshequa, Livonia and Dansville) and we have added additional Deputy Sheriffs and Command Staff members at each school during the walkout. We have no indicators that there will be any issues but protecting students from any harm is always our first priority.

The really great news is that the schools have been very proactive in coming up with innovative ideas for the students to protest without putting themselves in any danger and many include staying inside the school.

If your child is a student at Avon, Geneseo, Caledonia or Mount Morris, we have also extended an offer to the local Police Chief that has the SRO assigned to the school to offer our resources there as well.

Who is paying for the extra resources ???? i have no kids but i pay school tax .. if i did have, his or her ass would be staying home that day .
where we could discuss over a candle of the kids that died that day .. why GOVT Failed because they think they know how to raise a kid and that Murder is a LAW but seams to not exist to the Elite in power .. so Murder is a slap on the hand ... punish the gun guys instead ...
