Well maybe I’m wrong, but I was under the assumption that the wall was not going to be built the whole entire border...I agree that we could build up the security of the border, but that also starts with building up a wall, even if it’s not the whole entire border

No people are calling for a US version of the great wall of china or some shit.

Like I said there is nothing wrong with fixing boarder security, its needed and needed badly but to think about a whole wall across 5he whole boarder like many people are thinking is a waste of money and resources

I'm not trying to jump into this pissing match because both sides have points. My thoughts of spending money on security versus a wall is a simple one, what happens when the next Dem president is elected? They can very easily pull any or all of the added border security. They can't so easily pull down the wall without pissing off a lot of people and possibly ruining their second bid.

For not building the entire length, I will go with IDK if that's good or bad. I can see if we don't the spots where the wall isn't becomes the new hot spot. But I can also not see very remote locations being a hot bed of traffic without fore warning.

If the wall wasn't necessary, you wouldn't need border patrol at all in the field since all illegals would stop at the current ports of entry. That's clearly not the case as evidenced by the hundreds of thousands of illegals here and the hundred of thousands apprehensions in the places where there are no walls.
