I don't think I could wear an outfit like that if ammo prices were being cut by 75% and the only way I could get in on the deal was donning that costume..
I have no shame, I'd wear nothing but the wings for that kind of deal!

This guy, who as I recall has been banned from a few sub-forums on Reddit.com (forum community not unlike ours), is an FFL and used to (still does?) gloat about charging so much money for "hard to find" guns. He's bragged about not getting out of bed for less than $5,000 in sales, etc.
If you don't want to read the linked article, basically he says he would have made more money in a Clinton Presidency because of people being afraid of their guns being taken away etc etc...
Apparently he doesn't believe sales will go up if existing gun laws are weakened or removed all-together.
For example, I don't yet own a 'full size' handgun (except for a 1911) because I refuse to pay MORE for magazines that only hold 10 rounds. Hopefully with a solidly Conservative Supreme Court we can tackle that..

In the short run demand spikes for goods when people fear it will no longer be available. In the long run, gun sales will be higher if there are more POTG, period.
The market will be more stable. We will finally be rid of the hoarders and speculators! The growth of the firearms industry will be slower but wider, if that makes any sense.

Speaking of ammo. I just picked up some new hornady brass to load up the 90 grain Berger VLDs I got in the mail Wenesday. I plan on checking out the 1-6 twist 223 barrel with some heavies.
So apparently people are amused by the thought of me running around buck nekkid with cam fairy wings on............ Hey BulletGuy, you wanna hook me up with some kinda promo deal here?

I bet pricing stabilizes, but does not actually drop to any significant degree. Ammo prices may have 'ratcheted' in other words.
Wow, they make 90gr 223s? The ballistic coefficient of those must be insane! Post a pic if you could.
I hope not. There has been entirely too much ratcheting going on. The manufacturers are going to price the hobby into obscurity if they keep it up, plus they are giving away market share to the cheap Russian steel case guys.

It will take some time buy bet is that within a year or less and hopefully much less,, the prices will drop significantly across the board. Some ammo like 7.62x54R and 7.62x39mm may drop much sooner if Trump normalizes trade with Russia again or in other words ends the New Cold War that Obummer started.

Well, I mean it sure seemed pretty implausible at the time that's for sure. I was all pissed off because I thought having Trump as the candidate meant handing the election to Hillary. How wrong I was!
