When I ran an autoparts store, we never gave back or expected pennies...'course it was a Mom & Pop Shop where we didn't use a cash register, still the till was never off by more than a buck.
The everyday person would not lose or gain more than a buck here and there.

Nope, never. I rarely if ever give change when I pay. When I walk in the door at home any change they gave me goes in a jar. Its never in my pocket a minute longer than from the store to my house. One time a year its nice going to coinstar and walking out with 2-300 bucks in real money, made of paper, not that jangly crap.Although tell me you don't have the ultimate high the one time a year you have the exact amount of change on you that the sale requires.

My company is a big user of aluminum. I'm under contract on many jobs and would have to hope for a sympathetic ear and a change order to overcome that kind of an increase. I understand the need and I stand behind Trump and the cause, but this could be a death blow.
