Not really. What this country needs will not be popular. It can't be chipped away at. It needs to happen in <4 years. It needs to hurt, and leave scars. People will get over it eventually.

I agree but if it’s not popular then that person and those people will be voted out so that thing no longer happens or exists. I get what you’re saying and I fully understand and support it but there is a line. Trump knows this to most degrees and is walking it in most places. Some places heading exactly what he said but that’s because it’s popular. Take immigration he’s doing what he said because it’s popular. The riots in LA should and likely will reinforce this. I’d say 15% of the population or less support the riots and what they stand for. The Democrats message is stupid. It’s Trump’s Fault because he rounded up criminals. Come on now.
Take the BBB for example he didn’t cut Medicaid and Medicare because he knows how unpopular it is. It’s reduces spending but doesn’t balance the budget because he knows how unpopular those cuts are. If you want to be an effective leader and do good you need to stay in that leadership position. DOGE was also largely unpopular because it didn’t do much that people can see. The cuts were big but not a significant part of the budget and we won’t be getting taxes lowered so it’s over and we won’t hear much of it anymore. The republicans need to do what’s right and stay popular. If it’s the democrats in charge they will spend, spend, spend and worse. The democrats will be in charge if Trump isn’t popular.

Yes exactly. We are at the end of the rope with fiat money. I have heard that we shall lose half of our dollars buying power every 6 years. Inflation is the result of printing more and more money which devalues it. We have been proped up with reliance on someone buying our debt. The chickens are about to roost.

It's an inevitable consequence of letting people who pay no taxes vote on what services the government should provide.

Nearly half the electorate doesn't pay any federal tax. Is it any wonder they vote for people who promise to spend money on them ?

Say what you want about Trump. Are there things someone is going to complain about related to him? Sure. Is he going to please everyone? Nope. Are there things that he isn't doing that we wish he would? Yup. There is no perfect individual. He though has had more daggers thrown at him than anyone. He has been through more crap than anyone. Look though at trade, the economy, the border, immigration, the military, inflation, the market, what he has accompished since 2016 (Supreme court situation and other judges), 2 sexes, the transgender crap, etc.. Look at what he has accomplished since January. More than any other president in my memory. To quote Gutfeld, "We don't deserve him." People need to stop their bitching about what isn't right yet and celebrate all that has been done in such a short time.
