Boomers? Shit. Things started going downhill when Lincoln went extra-constitutional. Then there was the whole Jekyll island thing in '13.

Boomers elected some folks who did some more damage, but shit was already well past broken by the time they got there.

I don't begrudge any person a pension they worked for, but I'll bet .Gov will.

Boomers did screw everything up! They have held the keys of power for 25 plus years. Politics, CEOs of Major Business. They have been in charge for some time..fucked us over good... Clinton,Bush,Obama! Need I say more?

@Podmonkey I’m a GenX’er and I love “us”. I think our generation truly had the best of both worlds, especially those of us who were slightly older in the 80’s than I was. Say like born in 1970 or so. Our only major suck is that all of our best musicians OD’d or killed themselves.

It was our generation's overprotective parenting that crippled the millennials. All the SJW bills of today were seeded in the boomer 60s and were blossoming during our childhood, its was just nascent enough for us as children to not notice.

We haven't really had one, not for that purpose anyway. The possibility of future upheaval has that potential.

I'm sorry. You missed high school in the 80s. I'm class of '87. So I was right in it.

But we can all get a feel for those times by watching John Hughes' films: The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Sixteen Candles, and Weird Science.

When I worked at a video club, I used to recommend "The Breakfast Club" for anyone who'd ever been in or through high school. Those character archetypes are timeless.

We are, without a doubt, the best generation.

The boomers, they brought and created a lot of bad issues that we are living with and paying for now.

Here's another blast from the past: After our last day of school in 9th grade in 1984, a bunch of us walked over to a mall and saw "Ghostbusters." When Bill Murray said the line, "Yes, it is true. This man has no dick." We all lost it. We just cracked up and couldn't stop laughing. I had to see the movie again to catch the 3-5 minutes of dialogue that I missed the first time while laughing my head off.
