I must be math challenged. So let's say you are someplace where there are 1,000 islands; and one of them has really good salad dressing. How do you know you got your dressing from the right island? I'm not a huge salad fan; but I'll tell you something I do with dressing that my mom always did when I was growing up. First get a totally fresh baguette or french bread. Then slice it, and put mayo on the bottom and then maple honey ham and imported swiss. Then on top soak the think with Caesar dressing. Best hogie ever.

I think ignoring someone only results in you not seeing their comments and posts, maybe threads even? Not you ignore someone and they also would then not see your stuff. You'd probably have a lot of people wondering where other people went in that case, lol.
I totally get the satisfaction that comes with effectively giving someone the silent treatment. I feel like in a forum setting though, where it's relatively anonymous, there is the tenancy for one or both parties to either not care or explode into an irrational state of Internet road rage.

The silent treatment is epic. My wife rules the roost; and if she ever puts me or the 5 kids on ignore you absolutely know it and it drives you insane. And the more you talk to her trying to get her to stop ignoring you, the more it bothers you that she's still doing it. and man, you feel it in your bones when you are in her bozo bucket for a day or two.
