First I don’t believe that it won’t pull things it’s not supposed to or they claim it doesn’t
They claim they are in the business of preventing crimes but you can’t arrest some one for thinking of a crime so a crime has to be committed to have an arrest. Last nothing will make Buffalo safe and nothing will make the Buffalo PD effective. Oops if they get this software maybe they will come harass me now for calling the ineffective

If someone were to flood the public dataset that Dataminr is looking at with a bunch of false records to render their service useless, that'd be a real shame. A real shame. Right @SomeSoldier / @SonOfSun ?

That being said, legitimately, how are they even determining info that is false or accurate that it's sourcing? Even with potentially bad actors aside that could taint the dataset, public records are filled with inaccuracies by themselves. I have my doubts about accuracy. Seems like a huge ball of wax to me, even if a bad actor didn't mess with this system.
