Dang yeah I need to get myself a raptor

They have one now with polymer........ wing... handles... whatever you want to call the grabby part. It's a little cheaper. Also check out the Geissele charging handles. The Super charging handle is the full size one and the Airborne charging handle has narrower......... grabby holdy.....things. I have the Airborne one on the NYGF carbine. Cost is the same as the Raptor.
I think the Geissele is a little more solid, the Raptor....... grabby thing..... on the right side has gotten a little loosely goosey on me. Still works fine. Any of these upgraded, extended charging handles make a large improvement to the AR15's handling. You wouldn't think so but what they allow is for you to keep your firing grip while using the blade of your offhand palm to quickly and firmly charge the rifle. Also makes rolling the rifle over and using the offside....... grabby wing thing..... for a press check simple.
They completely remedy any of the ergonomic issue of the standard handle.

Oh, also, @Edwardteach72, I was browsing the Trijicon site just now. MSRP on the ACOG/RMR combos are $2,100-$2,200. But I'd still like to try the combo. ACOGs are really nice scopes whatever there drawbacks may be.

As weird as it sounds as much as a meme gun my .450pm pistol kinda is (granted a meme gun that I think will serve as a great deer gun) I really am planning on kinda going premium on everything (aka replacing most of what I already have lol)

That's not a terrible price, I really do like how most of the Acogs have the fiber optic as kind of a back up

Well, consider that the Kahles K16i costs hundreds less. Or that the Trijicon Accupoint 1-6 is less than half that and the Accupoint 1-4 is a third the price.

True but figure that an RMR is about 400-600 depending on model and type. So we will say 600 msrp that leaves the acog at what 1,600? Still a bit pricey but not out of the realm for that level of optic and its damn near bomb proof.

I keep looking at the accupoint but it doesnt seem to have that many reviews vs other optics in its class..

Similar to the MRO which seems to be a solid red dot offering but keeps getting beat out by the aimpoint t1/2/pro

Well, that's only MSRP. I got my TA-11 ACOG for $1,000 from Eurooptic. Just checked again, $1073 for the TA-11 and $835 for the TA-31. With some +/- variance depending on the specific model. They have the best prices on ACOGs I think of anywhere I have seen.

Honestly they have the best prices for most optics. Ill always have to double take when their link comes up on google if I'm searching something

Ok @Podmonkey sorry once again I derailed a thread. But as I am already looking into upgrading my deer "pistol" and one thing I plan on first changing out is the trigger...

And currently looking at the LaRue Tactical MBT-2S Straight Bow Trigger

Ok also for some fun I did a complete base Centurion Arms CM4 and it came to 1,200

Barrel: 16" mid length
Handguard: their 13" mlok
Pinned low profile gas block
Standard charging handle
A2 flash hider
B5 bravo stock
A2 style grip
No back up iron sights..


And from colt in the 1,200 price
M4 style with 16" barrel and magpul furniture

***edit*** that's the closest to a base CM4 I could find a picture of, I know the muzzle device is wrong in the picture and not sure of the handguards but they look to be one of the 13" free float options so a good representation
