The more that I look into this election cycle, the more I see a huge win for The Donald. I am ready to put forth my new numbers....
Oh I'm with ya but I feel because of Mail in voting the Election with be forced to be ruled on. If you get a chance listen to Bongino he explains it well.
I listened to most of it. I think people just keep echoing this US Mail thing. I cannot explain it well, I do not think it is going to play in the way many are saying. Some are estimating upwards of 80 million mail in votes; I think that number is way to high. I think it is going to be less than the 40 million mail ins from 2016.

Because otherwise you kind of come across as setting yourselves up for a 3 year old style tantrum same as the Dems have been doing now for almost 4 years.

I don't think anyone here is saying if Trump doesn't win it's fraud. I believe everyone wants the polls open and a fair election.
If Trump wins by a landslide at the polls and the mail in votes turn the election around, that would not be a recipe for just overtly accepting the outcome.
What is an "unusual" amount? That's rather a vague statement.
Also, it's pretty well known that there will be an increase in vote by mail due to COVID. Three states vote entirely by mail and have done so before COVID was even on the radar, so an increase in voting there will increase overall vote totals. States like a hotly contested Florida already allowed no excuse need to absentee vote before COVID, and many of the "green" states with excuse required for absentee are allowing anyone to vote by mail this year due to COVID.

An unusual amount would be if a state has say 1 million registered voters, Trump wins 550k Biden 450k and then they "find" 60k votes for Biden to win the state.

So a vote turnout exceeding 100% total registered voters would be the threshold? I'd say that's pretty reasonable. A state counting more votes than it has voters should certainly take time to scrutinize all the ballots and only count the valid ones (though they should all go through scrutiny before counting to begin with).
I will not like it, but if Biden wins, he wins. He will be my president. Not the one that I voted for or support, but the president nonetheless.
So long as some of the counties vote 130% again things should be fine.

Interesting. The more that I look at this election cycle the more scared I become that the illiterate, uneducated, emotion-over-reality, woke masses will rally behind their irrational hatred of Trump to turn out en masse to vote for a demented man in his basement and plunge this nation into a socialist morass that will take a civil war to reverse...if it can even be reversed.
They dont even need the legal mumbo jumbo.
They just need to tell their base that Trump cheated and the recent riots will look like sunday school class.
People will die by the dozens.

30 years from now we'll have gone through a civil war or live in an authoritarian police state. The experiment has almost run its course and there are now too many people who see the others has not human. And it's not getting better.

Once you have evidence of fraud on that scale (more votes than voters). Who are you going to trust to "sort" the votes ?
Once the legitimacy of the electoral process comes into question, it's not something you can regain easily.
That's the real danger with mail in voting. It wouldn't be hard to do it properly, but it is very hard (maybe impossible) to get people to trust that it was done properly.
With an election, the public perception of fairness is the important thing. Much more than actual fairness in fact.

Idk, I'd say actual fairness is more important. If some people can't trust the results when they are fair, that's their problem. Sort of like how all these people are going on about there are 40-something different genders. We know how chromosomes and biology works, there are only two genders (with slight exception for people with genetic abnormalities, etc). If they (pun intended) can't handle the facts, well that's just too damn bad for them. Feelings about an election being fair are meaningless, only an actual fair election is meaningful.

That certainly wasn't fair, but it was accepted.
A fair election that people won't trust on the other hand is absolutely grounds for a civil war.
If you tell someone they can't vote, they may be pissed, but they will work to change that.
But if you tell them they can vote, and then they find out (or even believe erroneously) that their vote was not counted properly it's an entirely different matter.
Conservatives in NY know our vote will not count in the presidential election. We begrudgingly accept that.
But, if Nov 5th rolled around and we found a few truckloads of upstate ballots dumped in the east river it would be a whole different ball game.
If we found evidence that a large number of our ballots had been counted for Biden after we had cast them for Trump ? Heads would have to roll.

I have never had a high level of trust towards our election process. There is essentially no ID check even at a polling station. It’s always a few senior citizens checking your signature. My signature is very erratic and not at all unique to the point that it’s easily identifiable. I pissed one of them off a few years back because I asked them how they knew it was really me and asked them why they don’t ask for some hard copy of ID. Got myself a few dirty looks on that.
It doesn’t matter who wins. Both sides have sown the seeds of fraud being a reason for their loss. You just have to hope that there are at least a few honest people that see something which would provide evidence and that they are willing to stand up and bring it to light... where they find that light is really questionable.
