I cannot actually find evidence that she is proposing asset forfeiture (at least anything other than taxes, which of course are a form of it).

But later he makes this point

We got a taste for this last time. Could it in fact be that moderate democrats are pushed out during the nomination process by rabid SJWs to the point where the nominee is thoroughly unelectable in a general election? Of course, the democrats (and admittedly me), thought this is what would happen with the nomination of Trump.

It sure does look like the democratic primaries are going to be packed full of loons.

Trump has his weaknesses, without a doubt. However I predict the democratic primaries will become a race to the bottom of social justice pandering. Any moderate democrat is going to get destroyed, so only a true progressive will be on the ballot. Hopefully that is enough to scare the so called moderates that voted for trump last time to vote for him again.

The downside is that two years of social justice pandering with press coverage will normalize the idea the govt should be involved in every aspect of our lives. That is a far greater threat.

There were people who were willing to vote for either Bernie or Trump back in 2016. On the surface this makes no sense whatsoever. I interpret it as a cry for help. By and large these people were in states with economic slumps and high rates of opiod and drug abuse. They voted for obama twice because he was the outsider. They voted for trump because hillary was perceived to be the establishment candidate. Will they vote for trump or the next progressive challenger? That remains to be seen. I think that is why trump is focused on economic growth and reducing taxes and govt regulations. If he can get the economy going again, the voters will reward him with another term.

There were people who were willing to vote for either Bernie or Trump back in 2016. On the surface this makes no sense whatsoever. .

It actually makes perfect sense up until June 2015, before the Left castrated Bernie, Bernie and Trump were the ONLY major candidates to echo the anger of:
Open Borders,
unfair trade-and stopping the job-killing and sovereignty-killing TPP agreement that EVERY other dem or Republican would have passed,
Failed Wilsonian interventionist foreign policy,
and a need to rebuild America,

So for many people indifferent to the issues of: abortion, Israel, school prayer, the homosexual agenda, and gun rights, there was substantial crossover appeal.

Schultz believes the party has moved too far left and he doesn’t believe in their tax and spending priorities.

We Americans must remember something: Beligerance is our heritage. All the other revolutions mentioned in the article, all conducted against it's own people. Our revolution? We went up against the world's greatest economic and military power and won!
In the follow up conflict, despite the drubbing our ill equipped and organized Army received we managed to hold off the British and broker the peace. How? By defeating the greatest naval power the world had ever known with frigates made from scratch from the local forests!!

Giant killing is in our blood, doing the impossible is the quintessential essence of the American Way.
The democrats need to be taken down and it can be done!
