That would be a great pistol to have in the collection. They rarely come up for auction though, and at a pretty steep premium when they do.I remember reading an article about this not long ago but couldn't remember much about it. Cool story here.
I still would love to get my hands on an ASP 9 someday, somehow.
What I find interesting though is this high end custom carry thing is nothing new.
Well the thing is in the past you could buy a Model 39 and send it to Paris Theodore to turn it into an ASP for more money than the original purchase price after an extended wait if it was completed at all whereas now you can just walk into any gun shop and buy a Shield or G43 or PPS ect.^this. People have been modifying their carry guns ever since well we started carrying guns, to get the most out of the guns (based on that time frames thought process and methods which are always expanding and evolving) and yet by now you would think the fudd would be out of the whole "keep it stock" garbage
