Nobody should be forced to purchase them.
If you are a conscientious objector you absolutely should be allowed to fulfill your militia duty with a bolt action sniper rifle instead.

You know, going back to the covid "wear masks" thing. Even then, I don't think people who don't wear masks should be locked up. They don't have a right to entry of a private business without one, if the private business requires it.
This is above and beyond even that. This is something specificly written into the constitution. You can't just strip that from people when it's specifically granted.

I’ll disagree she doesn’t have to support the constitution. I could careless and there no requirement to support the constitution. The constitution just tells you what rights you have that the government can’t strip away.
Private businesses can still deny that though.
And it isn't "granted" in the Constitution. No rights are.

Well, the 2A and perhaps some universal human and natural rights, are in total opposition with "the feel-good right" to have a
disarmed population so if she doesn't like that then she is welcome to move to one little island in the pacific
where all is sun, sandy beaches and coconuts.
I don't disagree with her, but she needs to find the place where that is possible.
And also we know there is not such thing as assault weapons or assault vehicles, it is a scare tactic to induce
fear in the mind of the ignorant and fearful.

The Constitution "recognizes" those Rights, doesn't tell anything. And by example, the Gov't does a pretty good job of focusing and limiting, if not completely denying many, if not most of those Rights. That said...
The ONLY Right, within the Bill of Rights, specifically noted "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" is continually trampled! Let alone here in NY. But in NY we have our own Constitution and there is no 2A in it... I could keep going, but, anyways...
