The question of where they fuck are they and who/how are they being supported? Having Served and worked two decades on a Military installation I can tell you there's a hell of a lot of logistical needs and difficulties to a Battalion sized element, and 400,000 would be 800 Battalion sized elements, hell the 10th Mountain Division is/was 5K and they rotated three Brigades through the Sandbox every third year. (one deployed, one training, one rehabbing)
I'll accept the premise that there ARE "Military Aged, Chinese Males" here and they're likely to be used to attempt the seizure of Land in satisfaction of the debt we owe China, but the numbers seem exaggerated and unsubstantiated.
What make you think they aren't?

There are multiple reports of many many "non Mexican, central Americans" being caught at the border. China is actively buying up huge swaths of land and property. They were just blocked from buying land near an air force base fortunately.
They are likely working jobs, acting as sleeper agents or Intel collectors. They probably have jobs like port longshoreman, truck drivers etc. They will be the ultimate "trojan horse" force in modern history.
