Theres many factors to consider though. I remember the videos of people in China falling over dead in the streets supposedly from COVID. Today we know that was false. We also know that the vast majority of those who died "from" COVID had underlying health issues and co-morbidities. Healthy young people are not in the risk pool, and there have been way too many in the count who died "with" COVID and not "from" COVID

I have a vague connection to a total of one (parent of a coworker) and I don't believe he ever expressed any regrets for his choice.

Falsifying a COVID-19 vaccination card is now a class A misdemeanor in the state of New York, and tampering with computer records related to vaccinations is now a class E felony, after Gov. Kathy Hochul signed new legislation late Wednesday.
The bill clarifies that "a COVID Vaccination Card shall be considered a written instrument for purposes of the forgery statute," which makes faking one a crime punishable by up to 1 year in jail or 3 years' probation.

That bill also created the felony of computer tampering in the third degree for "intentional entering, alteration or destruction of 'computer material' regarding COVID-19 vaccine provisions," according to a statement from the governor's office.

This may not be popular, but I have no issue with this. If you’re not vaccinated say so and you know what the consequences are. Of going to dinner or the bills game is so important get vaccinated.
however this is a double edged sword because I don’t support being excluded from places or having to show your vax card to get in anywhere.
My thought in supporting this is of others around you think you are vaccinated and they make their choice on that and you’re falsifying that record then it’s negligent on your part. I was watching judge Judy and she said there will be lawsuits on this and I believe there will be.
Aslo keep in mind it’s a government record and your not allowed to falsify government records.

In regards to if I’m vaccinated my response has always been “well I have a terrible memory so I can’t really say, but I know if I was vaccinated I would have thrown away any vaccine card I would have received as I firmly believe anyones medical information is nobody’s business, thus I can’t say if I am or I am not vaccinated. I can give you the phone number to my doctors office and you are welcome to call him and ask, but I am unsure what information he would be allowed to provide”

All you did was go in, fill out some paperwork, they give the jab, and you wait a few then walk out with a jab card. They opted for the single dose J&J.

However, they lost the card, and because it was a popup vax site, they weren't able to figure out how to back trace it because there were a number of clinics that were involved doing the popup vax sites in that area.

So say if they got asked for "papers please", how in the world would they even be able to produce it?

I know, I know, more people will be able to drive back to their local doctor or pharmacy or at least have a clue where/who they got it done by if it's local. But in this scenario, it's damn near impossible.

A little birdy also told me that the NYS database has been a cluster from the beginning from typos to staff not even bothering to enter in data that it's been proven unreliable.

Even in this day in age, it's unrealistic. And at the end of the day, its way past the point where you need QR codes or "papers please". Folks need to move on and quit crying like little babies. I have no sympathy at the point for companies harassing new employees or existing employees over "papers please". Its to the point where if you ask now, it's disrespectful, at least I feel like it is.
