Falsifying a COVID-19 vaccination card is now a class A misdemeanor in the state of New York, and tampering with computer records related to vaccinations is now a class E felony, after Gov. Kathy Hochul signed new legislation late Wednesday.
The bill clarifies that "a COVID Vaccination Card shall be considered a written instrument for purposes of the forgery statute," which makes faking one a crime punishable by up to 1 year in jail or 3 years' probation.

That bill also created the felony of computer tampering in the third degree for "intentional entering, alteration or destruction of 'computer material' regarding COVID-19 vaccine provisions," according to a statement from the governor's office.

This may not be popular, but I have no issue with this. If you’re not vaccinated say so and you know what the consequences are. Of going to dinner or the bills game is so important get vaccinated.
however this is a double edged sword because I don’t support being excluded from places or having to show your vax card to get in anywhere.
My thought in supporting this is of others around you think you are vaccinated and they make their choice on that and you’re falsifying that record then it’s negligent on your part. I was watching judge Judy and she said there will be lawsuits on this and I believe there will be.

I agree in that people shouldn't be lying about being vaccinated, but I have to disagree with the 'if going out to dinner or a Bill's game is so important get vaccinated' part.

If we're going to be forced to get vaccinated because it's safe and works so well, then the vaccinated people at those locations have nothing to fear. Unvaccinated people clearly understand whatever risk they may be taking. Let us take that risk and continue to enjoy our lives.

Lost my shot record in USAF just before a TDY to Vietnam - that was not fun - luckily caught some slack from one of the techs.

Had so many vaxes I've lost count - yellow fever 5X, cholera 15-20X (it's useless), etc, etc.

Well, after going to several stores today where I saw hundreds if not more people all wearing their Apostle masks, I felt pretty lonely. I saw two people without masks on. I wasnt harrassed ,nor did anyone ask for me to put a mask on except in Value , where I ignored the manager and kept on walking . I had been to the same value several times this week , and nobody bothered me. But today he did. They let it go , no big deal .
