This idea that he will drop out is credible and a replacement installed at the convention by Super Delegate vote. This is only an option if the DNC somehow can't figure out how to switch the candidate voted by their delegates. The RNC doesn't have the luxury of a Super Delegate.

Told my wife months ago that Joe would not be the eventual nominee, and I still think that is a likely outcome. When/how/who - I have no idea. It's getting really difficult to hide his current condition even with a conspiring media.
Also think there is a good chance of at least an attempt at assassinating DJT. Better odds that it will be some unhinged, incompetent Demunist, but I would not rule out a Kennedy-like scenario either.

Harold Ford Jr. He would be an interesting one to watch. Tulsi Gabbard if she returned to the fold. A full Left one, I don't see any who would be a real effort.

I think even the DNC has realized the error in their ways. I can't wait to get some popcorn and watch Chicago shortly; GREAT choice. Heck, she wasn't even at the signing of the Executive Order for the Border and she's the Border Czar in name. The messaging has been dismal from the current administration. The staff and players have failed as a team and she is the assistant captain of the team. But it would be a shoe in for anyone with a pulse the GOP puts forward.
