Careful with that strategy, it will cost you thousands in the end. One day soon you will look at that stack of ammo and say hmmm I Need to get a new gun in .40 S&W and a 10mm and a .... :ROFL:

After the 17 HMR was rolled out in the early 2000s I went and bought one and ordered 2000 rounds with it. I was assured I would have the ammo when the rifle was ready to pick up. Well, I got the Rifle one week later but the ammo didn’t show for 6 months. Now I buy 1000-1500 rounds of the new caliber I am interested in before I buy the gun.

Even when I lived there I had enough mags to put 500 rounds of 223 or 9mm, 40 and 45 in mags, which translates to a shitload of mags but, that is the price of freedom. Once I get settled the 10 round mags that can be converted to full capacity will be and the ones that don’t will be sold.

Highly unlikely, add a couple million new gun owners a month without increasing capacity and you have a shortage. Then you add the perception of a shortage and you get people buying extra to avoid running out and not being able to resupply. It is a vicious cycle.

There is a bit of an ammo shortage around here but guns are fully stocked.

I think alot of this is over exaggerated.
My only proof is my own expierience and.....did anyone see the goofy Yankee Marshal show how empty his local shop was?
Its like bizzaro world.
Hes describing how utterly empty all the shelves are.
But, in the real world, in the video hes showing, you couldnt cram another gun on the shelves in most cases.
The guns are uncomfortably close in the extremely full cases. Hundred of handguns on display but the YM is just disgusted by the insane lack of handguns.
The guy is delirious.
I showed my wife just incase I was missing something.
She commented that in some cases the guns were too close together and may be difgicult to look at.
Too me this is a FULLY stocked gun shop. You may also be interested in the Yankee Marshals video from the CHOP zone. He berates his viewers for saying CHOP is violent. He says its just all peace and love and us "right wingers" are just silly. Nine seconds later a "CHOP security" guy punches him in the face. You hear the fear in the YM voice as he explains his being there like a child. Talks tough, whines like a child. Then he makes another video about how safe and non violent CHOP was. The guy is losing it.

I watched the video... HONESTLY... I think he is being totally sarcastic... Which I think was kind of the point. Personally, I think this guy is a tool and I wouldn't normally defend a damn thing he says or does... But in this case...

This guy is a tool. His videos are some of the worst gun videos on YouTube. His knowledge on the Founding Documents is worse that the shitty videos. His outlook on what is happening in the US is a joke. Nope, I do not like him at all.

He is just so hell bent on being right, he cant gauge when hes wrong.

He is becoming worse.
Every one of his videos now is him telling his subscribers how wring they are because his opinions are superior.
So many of his followers disagree with him that he now has a video series for people to confront him. He is such an arrogant ass that he treats that series as a way for him to humiliate his followers.
He doesnt seem to understand opinions from fact.
He is one of the least informed gun guys on the internet.
And, most of his videos now are rants about other youtubers being idiots.
He is losing followers daily because of his unfounded arrogance.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that's watched a dozen or so of his videos over the years and was thinking "WTF is wrong with this clown"

Some of his older videos have some good info, specifically his revolver content, but I've unsubscribed from him with all the BS he's been putting out recently.

I agree
Just the last year or so he has become extremly defensive and extremely opinionated and when someone confronts him, he breaks into a rant about how correct he is.

He's always done it too, but now that his shitty opinions are taking the forefront over his out-of-left-field gun content, I lost interest. I'm still not opposed to watching if he shows some cool revolver, 1911, or Beretta, but I don't need a month worth of his blabbering vids clogging my feed before something actually interesting pops up. When he called out Mrgunsngear for stolen valor, that was the nail in the coffin for me subscribing to him.
