I disagree. A strong, mass showing in DC would demonstrate that gun owners are some minority lunatic fringe as the media like to portray.
If nothing else it would bring us out of cowering, fearful state and regain some assertiveness.

I know jack about orginizing stuff so I posted something along these lines on MAC's Patreon page, to which I donate. As an industry insider with connections maybe he could steer is in the right direction?

I don't know about you but I could use a bit of therapy right now. Also a march on the national stage could be more productive than on the NYS stage. Whether or not it actually helps we should march in DC. Its important to show the flag. Why the hell should we cede our right to assemble to the fucking commies?!

At our GOA/Patriots meeting last Tuesday the discussion of a rally took place. The time loosely set for September after Labor Day. The location within a 15 mile radius of the intersection of I-81 & I-90.

That is where we stand in CNY so far.

Now all and everyone answer me this. How many of you can be there? (snip)

I can't promise anything that far ahead but since it is in my area how can I refuse? Tentative in. But like others said, we did multiple rallies in Albany to zero effect.

There is only one rally that I will go to. We aint there yet. Rallies don't mean shit unless it fits their agenda.

I fear the 'rally' you refer to will be here before long, and it'll be too late to do anything by then.

Honestly, there's only certain people that place a high priority of importance upon such showings and polls...

The "quiet majority" can let their voting do the talking!

As a matter of fact, I think I'm going Rogue and registering as a Democrap, so I can vote for the "other" candidate in all their elections! We should "all" go subversive! And I love what happened in the Presidential election, and sincerely hope more of the same occurs, ie, unpredictable political models appearing that none of the so called experts can accurately predict, like weathermen! Fuck them where they breathe!

That all said, the rally will prove nothing, it will be understated by all the media, will be avoided by those politicians who are afraid to offend (most) and will serve nothing other than as noted, a great get together with like minded Constitutional Patriots!

Fact is their plan is to whittle away at your Rights, there will be no massive acute movement outside a new Amendment, which will not happen in our lifetime. They will just chip, chip, away! And people will relocate to Soverienties where their way of life is cherished, whether it be religious, political or otherwise. It's going to happen, just as slow as them whittling away at your Rights. We are all evidence of that grand experiment which has brought us to where we are today. Doesn't mean it will stand the test of time and I believe we are seeing the beginning of the simmering before the boil. A few generations forward will be where it breaks.

There's a lot to be said about keeping low until it's needed to appear. No sense getting anxious and showing your hand, jumping at shadows like they do. Just make sure you and everyone who can vote, does! If 5% who don't vote did, the tide changes. Is simple really. Vote!
