Im China the only difference between corporate and military is the uniform.

This is my philosophy: don’t start something with anyone you don’t intend to kill. The reason being, you don’t get a vote in how they will react and you may have to kill them to save yourself. This philosophy extends to families and countries. If you kill someone you might as well kill their entire family so you don’t have to forevermore look over your shoulder for the Karma Bus. If you are going to attack a country you might as well kill off the entire population because there will never be peace in that region for you or your progeny. If you attack them you have to kill them all so they don’t have the chance to retaliate and kill all of you In your own home/ homeland.

Cuba was already a soviet satellite. We were OK with that.
It was the nuclear missiles that were the last straw.
True but, because they put offensive weapons 90 miles off our shore we determined we had the right to invade. Hence the bay of pigs disaster, then the blockade (act of war). Russia felt the same way about the NATO alliance being able to put offensive weapons in Ukraine. Now there are Russian tanks rolling through Ukraine. Is it justified? In their mind it is.

Honestly, I don't think even arguing about what is justified or not is productive.
I still don't think their actions are justified, but in the real world it doesn't matter. All that matters is that they did, and will we do anything about it.
Ghengis Kahn believed he was justified in killing everyone in a city if they didn't surrender fast enough. It doesn't actually matter if that was true or not, because you were just as dead either way.
The rest of the world doesn't believe this was justified, so the Russian economy is now in ruins.
It is all semantics for those who are lucky enough to live through it. Those with the biggest stick and the will to use it win and write history, everyone else is dead or doesn’t matter.

They just have whatever their TV tells them to have.
