All they care about is how many they have sitting in a warehouse, because that's all that matters.

Look, I've got a lot of 1000lb+ boulders on my property, a lot.

I'm using them all over the place, because they didn't cost me a thing.

Now if I had to buy them from a landscaping place they'd charge me several hundred dollars a piece for them. No way would I use them to just line the side of my driveway at that price.

But I didn't pay that for them, so I do.

Russia may win. Right now that is the safe way to bet. My sense is if Russia loses millions of men they will not win this war. If there is not a Ukrainian left by the time they are done then they will not have won the war. Putin started this war for territory AND to get millions of ethnic Russians back behind the border of his country. If there are none left then by definition he lost the war.

Russia thought that three mechanized strikes in the north, middle and south would quickly end the "limited" military incursion or whatever the fuck Putin called it. Turns out this was wrong. Now the Russians will have to invade on a larger front with massive waves of infantry. Will they win? Who knows. But the more they destroy the territory they sought to acquire the less of a "victory" they can claim.

Won't happen.

Nukes are an act of desperation. NATO can steamroll Russia conventionally.

So NATO Won't use nukes because they don’t have to for anything other than as a response to a massive nuclear strike.

I don't even think NATO would respond with nukes to a Russian use of tactical nukes.

They would respond with overwhelming conventional force instead.
