They just sent a shipment of cherrybombs
When the pantry or closet is bare, it's time to empty out the cellar and garage.Doofus in charge let it slip publicly that we are low on 155mm shells. We all knew that but he publicly confirmed it. That's why the sudden push to send cluster bombs instead.
What a joke man.
NATO also essentially promised membership to Ukraine today. No deadline but more or less said as soon as they "meet certain conditions" they will be granted membership
As it stands Ukraine is not even invited into NATO.
It's pretty darn close to being "invited"

NATO leaders opened the door a bit wider for Ukraine on Tuesday by offering it an accelerated path to membership and continued support while it's at war with Russia.
The decision by the 31-nation military alliance falls short of the clear pathway with timelines for acceptance that the government of President Volodomyr Zelenskyy has been demanding.
"We reaffirmed that Ukraine will become a member of NATO and agreed to remove the requirement for a membership action plan. This would change Ukraine's membership path from a two-step process to a one-step process," said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the conclusion of the summit's first day.
"We also made clear that we will issue an invitation for Ukraine to join NATO when allies agree and conditions are met. This is a strong package for Ukraine and a clear path towards its membership in NATO."

They are getting their Ass handed to them! It's a lip service. Ukraine still needs to meet the conditions and be approved by ALL members. Neither is going to happen. Zelensky can't even spin this as a victory for domestic propaganda.

Read that and read this
NATO approves ambitious defence plans: 300,000 troops on high readiness
At a summit in Vilnius on Tuesday, the leaders of the North Atlantic Alliance agreed on new ambitious defence plans that reflect the need to combat threats such as Russia and terrorism. NATO also moving to have 300k troops on high readiness alert.
Come on. You know exactly where things are going read between the lines and make a conclusion.
I think NATO will offer security guarantees to "western Ukraine" and will put up a no fly zone over some artificial boundary like the dnipo river or something similar. NATO is likely to say all the countries that had referendums to join Russia, Crimea, Donbas etc they won't touch but I am to the point I actually think NATO will come up with some cockamamie plan to get a foothold in the western half of the country.
......All for the love of UKRAINIAN MONEY AND TRYING TO HOLD Onto THE PONZI SCHEME AS LONG AS POSSIBLE AND WILLING TO DAMN THE WORLD TO DO SO.
Pretty much. I Know I aint gonna get nothing out of it
Won't be NATO.This clears the path to NATO entering the war if they choose to do so at some point. My guess is its leverage to bring Putin to the peace table.
Since the credibility of the west has been utterly destroyed and every promise made, broken, Its hard to imagine Putin even consider it .
If NATO steps in, it will escalate to nuclear war , no way around it Even conventional war at first will bring sub launched hypersonic cruise Missiles to NY Washington , make 911 look like a walk in the park . All for the love of Ukraine .
Probably right. The NATO thing may just be a pressure tacticWon't be NATO.
It would be another "coalition of the willing" like they put together for Desert Storm.
You don't need NATO, you just need it's bigger members. Nobody actually gives a shit what Greece, Turkey, etc want to do.
