Privately Everyone Admits Ukraine is at a Stalemate Position – Publicly Western Govt Must Retain Face
Speaking to our CTH audience following direct conversations in the EU, I can assure you that privately it is well known that the Russia-Ukraine conflict is at a designed stalemate. Russia has solidified the western frontlines in Ukraine in exactly the position originally intended. Additionally, the fortifications are of such strategic scale no one in the Western alliance would dare to propose any effort for direct confrontation.The Russian military have long ago positioned their strategic assets to take out any advanced armored columns. All of the primary routes for U.S. provided Ukrainian tank deployment have been field targeted by proactive artillery placement. Any advancing U.S/Ukraine armor would be walking directly into previously sighted positions. It is a literal stalemate with air combat as the only solution to break the hardened fortifications. The Russian air defenses are also positioned against this approach.

I follow this war very carefully from many different sources. This war is NOT a stalemate! Russia has militarily already won this war. The Ukrainians have been decimated. The proof is out there for anyone who wants to honestly look. Ukraine has really been reduced to a rump state. Putin is in the driver’s seat and in no hurry to settle anything. He knows he can’t trust the West when it comes to negotiating.
Describing this situation as a stalemate is pure nonsense. This is the United States’ way of putting lip stick on the pig. The Russian military has proven superior to the the West trained and supplied Ukraine army on almost every level. Russian ISR is second to “none”. A main reason for not sending F16s to Ukraine. They would not last very long.
Russian missile capability far exceeds anything we have provided the Ukrainians. The Kenzhal missiles are hyper sonic weapons the US has not yet developed. Super accurate and nuclear war head capable. On the other hand, HIMARS, Patriot systems, ATACMS, Bradley’s, Leopards, etc have proven ineffective.
Russia holds more than 20% of Ukraine’s prime real estate. Russia’s economy has done well in spite of useless US sanctions. Russia now has an army approaching 2 million. They have a thriving trade with most of the world’s largest countries.
Western political figures in the EU and the US have greatly toned down their rhetoric. A stalemate? Not hardly. It’s wishful thinking and propaganda.

That looks awful. Highly doubt they lived.
Ukraine is being decimated I genuinely feel for them. I wish they would negotiate while there is still something left to save. If this war goes on much longer they will be out of all able bodied male and females from 16-60. Good luck rebuilding after that.
