Maybe this will ring a bell? Grandpa served in the Waffen SS
The 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Ukrainian) (German: 14. Waffen Grenadier Division der SS (galizische Nr.1), prior to 1944 titled the 14th SS-Volunteer Division "Galician" (German: 14. SS-Freiwilligen Division "Galizien")[1] was a World War II German military formation initially made up of volunteers from the region of Galicia with a Ukrainian ethnic background[2] but later also incorporated Slovaks, Czechs[2][3] and Dutch volunteers and officers.[4] Formed in 1943, it was largely destroyed in the battle of Brody, reformed, and saw action in Slovakia, Yugoslavia and Austria before being renamed the first division of the Ukrainian National Army and surrendering to the Western Allies by 10 May 1945.

#Where's HunterTheres those oil lines again.
If this escalates (and that seems likely now), the next step is China going into Taiwain.I dont think there is any need to worry about the war spreading at this point. If reports are correct, they have run into a hornist's nest and are in no position to confront NATO
I cant tell how much is real or not , I was watching the live cams last night during the assault on Kiev and there was nothing to be seen .no smoke, no fire, no flashes just really loud gunfire. were they really live or from 2 days ago? Dont know, I see a ton of false videos and reports from past years being posted as recent . Cant really tell what to believe.
Well, you *know* that's wrong. But but but..... he said he didn't do it. Has to be true!
President Trump said Wednesday that Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin told him – twice – that he was not involved in any plot to interfere in last year's U.S. election. "I said, 'did you do it?' And he said no, I did not. Absolutely not," Trump told Reuters. "I then asked him a second time in a totally different way. He said absolutely not."
Yes I believe the Russians and American media are fucking liars.
Why not all of the banks?
Curious, how long will it take the Russians to directly go through China now using the Yuan, strengthening the Chinese currency?
Now Russia and China will be closer than ever, with China being able to cut off most of US-EU supplies
Perfect let all the assholes kill each other. This is the Azov Battalion in Mariupol, they will be meeting the spetnaz and chechens later on today
I think there are some things China is observing in all this. Currently it “appears” a small country being invaded by a far larger and numerically superior enemy is so far doing decently well against them. A numerically smaller Air Force “appears” to be putting up a decent fight. Ukraines use of javelin missiles “seems” to be doing a heck of a job against enemy armor. Bevause Russia has not steam rolled over Ukraine in 24-48hrs it is giving the rest of the world time to come together and engage against Russia by either economic sanctions or by providing more and more support to Ukraine. If the world was to cut chinas economy off and remove China from banking that could seriously hurt China. Xi is a brutal cruel dictator, but he is smart. Why have all out war with the risks that come with it, when you can accomplish it thru other means. If this escalates (and that seems likely now), the next step is China going into Taiwain.
Make no mistake, Xi is very carefully watching the worlds reaction to Putin's adventurism. If out reaction is little more than "stop, or I'll say stop again" he will take that as a green light.
If we do not react strongly, we are sending the message that "Imperialism is back on the menu boys".
People do not realize how incredibly peaceful the world has been since 1945. The Pax Americana is very real, and may be ending.
Most people have no idea what the world will look like if we revert to the pre-1945 state of perpetual war. The minor skirmishes we have been involved in since then are nothing in the grand scheme of things.

The First Casualty of War Is the Truth – The Current Western Propaganda for Ukraine Is Epic in Scale
When we shared yesterday that all interested observers should be very wary of the information from media sources around Ukraine, there was a reason for that. Question everything. Take nothing at face value.
If you have never experienced the propaganda push surrounding war, the totality of the inbound bullsh*t can be destabilizing, overwhelming and unnerving. It’s one of the reasons why CTH doesn’t share immediate information. Everyone has an agenda.
Everything we are seeing in U.S. media surrounding U.S. interests in Ukraine is a massive propaganda operation with the headquarters in the U.S. State Department and U.S. intelligence community. The sense of sympathy you are feeling is part of an intentionally manipulative operation from within this DC matrix.
The images, pictures, videos, speeches, soundbites and the cinematography broadcast by U.S. corporate media are all purposefully intended to create a very specific outlook within the American people toward the issues in Ukraine. The leftist United Nations, and the leftist U.S State Dept, will work together on this just like they have done in the prior examples (Ukraine 1.0, Libya, Egypt, etc.).
It is very easy to become a victim of psychological warfare intended to manipulate our opinions.

This is from the comments section posted aboveThe propoganda and opinion shaping is very strong on both sides.
As has been said repeatedly in this thread "the first casualty is truth" clearly that's evident in "instant" internet based media and social media
If this escalates, it sure as shit wont be the Russians invadeing or attacking anyone else, as they have thier hands full at the moment. If this escalates (and that seems likely now), the next step is China going into Taiwain.

Anyone can post anything and make it look damn convincing and truthful.
George Orwell himself couldn't even dream how effective this would be.
They won’t win. Russia doesn’t care about killing civilians. I had this conversation last night and a guy said well maybe the Russian forces won’t kill civilians. I said they don’t have to do it by pointing a gun and pulling the trigger. A general can give coordinates and say push the button and it’s done. What if Ukraine wins?
I never gave it a second of thought when this started. But now, I think it's possible they can draw this out into a protracted stalemate or make it too costly for Russia.
What does Russia do and how does Putin react?
