I completely agree. There is something that is just way off about the whole thing. I can't put my finger on it. Very little makes sense, except for the fact we are bombarded by a propaganda war. Getting accurate information is very difficult.

I watched probably 20 minutes of the feed before I thought to post it here. You could watch artillery coming from tanks farther behind the rest of the troops. Not only small arms fire, but some heavy shit. 20mm maybe? It wasn't just a few rounds. You could see the tracer rounds impacting the buildings. Watched tanks hit the building directly below the camera, which apparently was the front entrance to the plant. They ended up either taking the camera out, or one of the fires burned through the cctv cables. Been confirmed that one of the reactors was hit but luckily it was shut down for maintenance and the fuel was encased in concrete. But there's also spent fuel rods on site, not sure where it's being stored in relationship to where they were shelling.
Fire departments were there once and Russian military turned them back. Fires were still burning when the camera went down.

I think there is critical information we do not have. I don't think we're going to be able to figure it out without it. And if we do stumble on the real explanation with out wild speculation, I doubt we'll be able to recognize it without that information.

I was wondering about that. I’m not too familiar with nuclear reactors and I was wondering if there was a to get a nuclear power plant to be rigged to go off like a nuclear bomb. So that way Russia could explode a “nuke” in Ukraine without having to bring a nuke into Ukraine.

In the Fukushima disaster all nuclear units melted down with about only 10% of the release that occured from Chernobyl. A large part of the difference was due to the different core designs.
Hell, in the TMI accident in the US (a B&W PWR) we voided the core, and melted it down to a mess of rubble that had to be vacuumed out of the reactor during clean up.

When the dust settles someone will claim they miss reported a potential event as 10 times Chernobyl when it would have more like 1/10 of Chernobyl. Hundreds of thousands of nuclear workers, students, and scientists know they are lying. It is bad enough ( Fukushima -ish) without the 1000% exaggerated hype to a 10x Chernobyl.
edit: by the way, Fukushima is a Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) design which is cheaper and dirtier than the PWR design of Zaporizhzhia. Just saying.
