In my area, one school district is car accident 2, covid 0. Another district is suicide 1, covid 0. Yet covid is still the predominant concern here. My district has decided to ignore new CDC guidelines in order to maintain stability. So priorities are:
teacher pay > teacher safety > snowy roads > vacation days > virtue signaling > stability > student safety > actual learning.
I am sure more priority buzzwords will appear as schools get dangerously close to actually having to do their job.
