I live in long island new york and I'm not 100% sure how the laws are here when buying a threaded barrel I have all non-threaded right now but id like to purchase a threaded. can i have some insight?

Manufactures have been selling threaded barrels in NYS in all sort of bolt action l, lever, pump rifles ans shotguns..
Semiauto rifles too but with a muzzle end / thread protector pinned shut so it cannot be unescrewd. stag, dpms, oli are good examples.
When stores sell them is because they are compliant with the nosense.
Nys has a call nr dor questions too.
