President-elect Trump's pick to be the “border czar" has issued a pointed response to Gov. Pritzker's recent pledge to keep Illinois a sanctuary state for undocumented immigrants.

In an interview on conservative Charlie Kirk's podcast, Tom Homan responded to Pritzker’s statement, in which the governor declared, "If you come for my people, you come through me."

Homan replied, saying in part:

"Game on. We’ve got no problem going through him. I’ve got 20,000 men and women in ICE who are going to do their job with no apology," Homan said. "And if any governor wants to stand in the way, go ahead and do it. We’ll see what happens. We’re not gonna be intimidated."

I have mixed feelings on mass deportations because this could get very costly, cause mass protests, cause the republicans to lose in 26’ and 28’, could expand the federal governments overreach. The messaging from the republicans needs to be done properly and not just we’re going to deport millions and millions of people. Time will tell if this is done right.

If they want my vote they should just mass deport them. One of the reasons I don't vote for them is they are no better than the democrats. Sure, they say they are going to do something but never really do. It's all been bluster so far.
