agreed, the political climate at the NYRPA and the NRA is basically the same as congress. A complete overhaul is needed at the top in order for the people to trust them again.

I just got word from an NYSRPA Board member that King's coming out against home built arms and 80% receivers is once again all about himself and his self interests. In this case it's to please his crooked board member Brian Olesen who owns a string of gun stores and came out against 80% receivers. Motive: they threaten his FFL business. Then there is Albany County Democrat Sheriff Craig Apple who is also against them. According to the info I got, King sucks up to Apple. NYSRPA has backed Apple's election and also gave Apple an award a few years ago and, get this, Apple's girlfriend is King's niece! The Olesen and Apple coming out against them has been in the Albany newspapers.
