Got several big ones out back here, the squirrels have been playing havoc in the canopies up about 60' (eating the good nuts, tossing what they don't like).

Damn near the whole herd has been hanging out on my back lawn most evenings at the acorn buffet- except for the two big bucks who are up to something else right now and nowhere to be seen.

Got these pics with my cell phone. Seems to come through between 5:30 and 6:00 AM from south to north. Back in the spring, i saw one on the creek bank in the swamp across the road. Goose was putting up a ruckus. Probably trying to get eggs or a young one.

I'm in the market for a new trail camera. The last one I had was a Moultree. It worked OK, but not so good I would buy one again. I resurrected it twice with some replacement parts, but now it is completely dead. My best guess is to buy one based on reaction speed and resolution. Any recommendations ?

Mine is a Bushnell, but I have no experience with others. I guess I have no complaints. Wife got me for Christmas. Middle of the road cost wise.

Browning trail cams - have a long battery life - good pics - but leave a lot to be desired. Have one about 4 years old - second time I mounted it - the very thin stamping inserted for the screw thread stripped out - had to replace it with a cobbled up splicing nut - three months later - the latch holding the camera closed broke - repaired that for a while with some epoxy & Plast-Aid. -- That plastic on the latch failed again a month ago - so I cobbled up a new latch from a piece of sheet brass. - Did have a Moultrie in between there - but that went thru batteries like a stoner with the munchies attacking a bag of Oreos.

I had another video on my Cam from early this morning. Caught the tail of what I thought was a fox running away. Upon further review there was a white tail just ahead of him. Maybe now thinking coyote?

Whatever was chasing the deer was about 18-24" tall so prob not another deer.
