Training Company - Unbiased Opinion?

I notice that on this site there are 2 or 3 companies that hold training classes in the metro-NY area.
Is anyone willing to give an unbiased opinion comparing the training provided by; MDTS, Onsight Firearms gand Nicys Firearms ?

Having not taken any from any of them, but been on all their sights looking into their trainings (was hoping to take a few classes this year but adult stuff has come up and what not) they all look to be top notch and dont think you would be making the wrong choice with any of them

Ive taken MDTS classes, and @Stretz Tactical Inc. Ben, the owner of @OnSight Firearms Training, was a fellow student at an MDTS class and he clearly has his shit together. Ive also spent time shooting with Andrew Harris from @FCG LLC.

In my opinion, you can't go wrong with anyone. Everybody may have a slightly different style, but they will all teach you fundamentals and they will all have different drills that will make you better.

What I've learned is that you can learn something from all of these trainers, and all trainers in general. As long as you walk away from any training class feeling like you personally improved you should be satisfied. And for what it's worth, I would guarantee anyone would walk away from any of these trainers being better and more proficient then before they took the classes.

Are all courses basically the same? Do you have a preferred trainer?

I can't say I have a preferred trainer,. Although what I will say is due to proximity, @OnSight Firearms Training , and @Stretz Tactical Inc. have a lot of classes to offer.

There are all sorts of different classes, there are more entry-level classes where you focus on more of the basics, then there are more advanced classes will you be doing more shooting and moving. Then there are classes that focus more on Precision, or classes that focus on low-light shooting. I would always suggest to start with the basics, and there is a lot more involved than just standing in a stationary position. I've taken basic classes a couple of times over just because there's a lot to be learned and you get a lot of good practice. If money and time we're not a concern I would literally take classes from all of the trainers and go through their entire curriculum top to bottom, and then repeat it all over again.

What I would suggest is that you sign up with any one of those trainers that offers a class you're interested in that works in your schedule. Then the next time you take a class choose a different trainer and so on and so forth.

I only have experience with Ben of @OnSight Firearms Training, but I can say that he does an excellent job of establishing the basics and then progressing to advanced stuff like cover and move and shoot as well as close contact fire all in a single day. You will get a great deal of instruction in one class.
