Is there a law on the trigger pull for NYS, weight wise?
You may be thinking of the NYC police officers who are stuck with a 12lb trigger by department policy, but nothing in the law AFAIK. I personally wouldn't go too light for an EDC weapon, but if you want a 4oz trigger on your benchrest rifle, go for it.Is there a law on the trigger pull for NYS, weight wise?
Massachusetts has one. Look on s&w web site 10 lbs pull.never heard of a thing ..
Thanks for the replies guys. I thought it was weird when someone told me that. Well now I know who not to listen to when it comes to gun laws...lol
ahahaaaaoh no what if albany makes us keeps our triggers between 1 3/4 and 4 Pounds,
that would horrible if they wrote that law!
That would be horrible. You appendix guys would be shooting yer dicks off with frightening regularity!oh no what if albany makes us keeps our triggers between 1 3/4 and 4 Pounds,

See? Its all a big conspiracy! That would be a new theory on gun control
attrition
See, the theory of appendix carry was secretly invented by liberals who wanted us to castrate ourselves at high velocity to undermine the conservative birth rate. LOLThat would be horrible. You appendix guys would be shooting yer dicks off with frightening regularity!
...probably one major reason there is sometimes some confusion here is that those 11# triggers used on the NYPD's glocks (required by dept. policy, not law) go by the designation NY1 and NY2 triggers; however they are often referred to simply as 'NY Trigger'.
