At a MINUMUM.
The lesson here is that afghanistan is not capable of a drawdown. The only thing keeping the country together was US military. There is/was no way to drawdown without the occurrence of what we are seeing now.So, I am going to blame Biden.
Under his leadership and his Generals, this is happening.
Biden is the one that allowed this to occur.
Biden does not have the strength to have done this correctly.
If this drawdown and removal was happening under President Trump, it would have been done much better and that shithole would not be in the situation they are in right now.
Lots to take here, but he's wrong about not winning a war in three quarters of a century. Dessert storm was a win. US batting average is pretty damn bad since WWII, though. Makes a good point about our military spending but we can't even secure our own fucking border. What a disgrace. The Scale of Humiliation
To reprise a line from a decade-old column of mine: Afghanistan is about Afghanistan – if you're Afghan or Pakistani. But, if you're Russian or Chinese or Iranian or European, Afghanistan is about America. That's the point to remember: if you're anwww.steynonline.com
As usual, Steyn has it correctly.

The Taliban must be thinking: "Those Americans...so wasteful. We just drop homosexuals off buildings and save a lot of jet fuel."I think that a Trans-Talibin Airways jet dropping the Pride flag bearer off at the US embassy.

I also saw this movie recently and it's exactly like this:Look at this movie turned non fiction
From what the guys say about the Iraq withdrawal they said it was way more coordinated than the Afghan. Over 700 trucks have been captured. Including MRAPS, UNARMORED HUMVEES and more! Oh and some multi million dollar drones, no biggie. Oh fuck, and an attack chopper from India that was gifted to the Russians. Am I missing anything? In case anyone is curious you won’t be getting a refund on your tax returns either.
So now the troops go back to fight against a better armed Taliban... I think we should’ve left, but I thought we’d pack some moving boxes or at least destroy all the weapons like according to our SOPs we were supposed to do. At the bare minimum you’re supposed to take out the bolt carriers or bend all the barrels. (I believe the instruction is to pile all the weapons and EOD blows it up)
