Magnus should cool his jets, walk a few blocks to the nearest decent pizza joint that has at least 4 star reviews on yelp, get himself a nice slice or two of NYC style thin crust and a beverage of magnus's choice, then go ahead and look through his ACGET guidebook (ancient chinatown gang escape tunnels) that cut through the massive sewer systems which expand underground throughout the city and find the nearest storm drain or manhole cover on the surface and get the hell out of dodge.

Only the 3rd one off to the side. In the pic below, it's the yellow one. Metro North and the Subways, don't paint them but they are off to the sides too. The ones in the middle aren't. You can actually touch the 3rd rail and be fine as long as you don't complete the circuit and touch another piece of metal but it isn't recommended.
