I don't think hes trolling, I think he'll do whatever will suit him the best. Hes having his people find out how negatively it would impact his campaign if he supported gun control, and which gun control measures he could get away with supporting to earn the most votes.
I don't trust him on the 2nd amendment anymore. He has not fulfilled any of his promises yet that I have seen. Hes done many other great things for the country , but hes done nothing for the 2nd amendment.
I read a lot of stuff on ammoland,ttag, and Breitbart. I comment on many of the gun control articles that they post and I express my negative opinions about them. I believe that people with influence check things like this to gauge the temperature on certain topics and I think it helps to express how strongly I am against gun control. so the more people that comment on those articles the better.

I agree with most of the above. He gets a little slack for the lunatic DemonCrap "resistance" and sell-out RINOS short-circuiting and slowing things done.
But , a big but, 2A is the cornerstone of a free constitutional republic...it is there for no other purpose other than to deter destruction of said republic.
If he caves on 2A in any substantive way, he loses - end of story. He already started with the bump-stock BS. IMHO, they're useless, but we're talking about the principals involved and the BOR, and strict adherence to those principals is the only thing in today's fUSA that can stop the deluge of Maoist rubbish. One more step done the slippery slope and he's done.
Additionally, he's done nothing to enhance or further protect 2A - that's a negative for me. We should be climbing back up the slope and out of the Marxist abyss, not standing on a narrow ledge and considering our protection, rope placement and stance so good we won't take the final drop into 1984.
"Cocaine" Mitch McConnell seems to able to get judges through the Senate. But not even national reciprocity could get done when the Repubs controlled both Houses of Congress. As usual, we have been ill served by these feckless shitweasels, over and over again.
As for me, they turn the country around now, or I'll sit the rest out, thank you very much. At 72+, I really don't care to go out from old age with a RINO dick up my ass.

What is it that gun owners want from this President? Executive orders?
Specific things. I get it, we want a President that will support the 2A and the other Rights, but what exactly do gun owners want from him?
Not to openly support (or support at all) red flag laws, not to demand the ATF reclassify bump stocks as machine guns, not talk about banning suppressors.
He could have removed the import ban on "non sporting firearms" oh he could have lifted the ban on saigas and not extend it to veprs ..... just some small things you know pro 2A things

The problem I see is that he'll be unencumbered by reelection if he wins a second term. We have another spate of shootings and subsequent push like this in his second term, he'll fold immediately. The only hope then is that we have majorities in both the House and Senate that are strong enough to realize how badly it will cost them to enact gun control. I don't think that will happen.
I think chances are good the democrats lose the house again. Problem is we cannot count on the Republicans either.

Reason being Biden's health and mental state is disintegrating so rapidly that he might have to drop out of the race and if he does I think Warren gets the nod and I see that daffy loon teaming up with Kamala more than Bernie.

You're inability to see what's right in front of you is disturbing. If this really is all false flags and the work of the swamp/deep state, why is he caving AT ALL??? I agree that he loves this country but he doesn't have the commitment to the founding ideologies to truly make the best choices for the USA. If the wrong person (Ivanka) bends his ear enough, he'll make the wrong choice while believing (and tweeting that) it's the best and greatest choice in the history of our country.
If he really supported gun rights, @Edwardteach72 wouldn't have been able to truthfully make post #12. He wouldn't have made his infamous "take the guns before" comment. He wouldn't have said that he "doesn't like [suppressors]." He wouldn't have had his staff working on gun control with Toomey, Manchin, and Murphy for the last seven weeks. It's pretty obvious that he isn't ideologically on our side. He just knows (or, more likely, his advisors are telling him) that if he alienates a significant portion of his base he can't win again.
All that said, I'll vote for him if he doesn't sign any significant gun control between now and the election. If he does, I'll write my own damn name in.

Great post except for the last sentence. If everyone did that who was ticked off and wrote their own name in, we would have another 4 years of even more gun control, anti 2A appointed judges for lifetimes, our borders would open, the list goes on.
While I certainly agree with your sentiment, personally I think we're too close to really nasty times to spend on trying to find someone with the cojones to really put the country back on track. If the DemonRat candidate is elected, then it's going bad fast. If Trump wins, he might be ready to really fight since he can't seek re-election - nothing to lose. But who knows? He's very mercurial and unpredictable - I stopped believing he was playing 34-dimensional chess a while ago.
IMHO, delaying the inevitable shitstorm won't make it better, it might make the intervening time better spent on preps.
But I'm a Debbie Downer - I think the country is toast in the next 10 years anyway. Looking at the level of societal psychosis readily apparent in the populace (it really is KlownWorld), let alone the loons in the DemonRat party, the country either has to amicably split, or descend into the abyss.
