People have been brainwashed. Thats the only way to explain how they, after seeing Brandons failures, seeing all his lies, seeing how mentally inept he is still support him and deny that the economy was better, the border was mostly secure, fuel independence was better under Trump and all the things falling apart are a direct cause of this puppet we have now. I voted for Trump twice and would do it again, but he is an asshole, but like others have said, I vote for the platform not the asshole on the ballot. Been voting since 1974 and I have never voted for the "better man", just the "lesser of 2 evils". I dont think we'll see Trump or Brandon on the ballot in 24, there is no way they can run him again without covid covering his drooling ass in his moms basement. If Trump runs I dont think it will be on the Rep ticket and if he runs as an independant the dems can get a kumquat elected.

DeSantis, not so much. I like Ron DeSantis but I will vote for Trump in the Primaries.
At this point, this country needs a badass pit bull back in charge. And that is Donald Trump.

He's not perfect but he is good, he has my vote.

But then there is the whole Democrat voter fraud issue.
So does this kind of discussion even matter? Does voting matter anymore?

In late August and early September, something happened that few people talked about then, and that few people at all talk about now: the big banks started getting bailed out again just like they were in during the Great Recession that occurred at the tail end of the Bush Jr administration and into the Obamanation debacle.

The bailouts for big business and big banking were not popular politically, during the Great Recession and a lot of political hay was made out of that. So, when the world economy predictably started to meltdown in 2019 necessitating a new round of bank bailouts, the powers that be had to have some reason to make sure people were watching the bouncy ball rather than what was really going on.

By the time Trump beat the Ukraine impeachment scam in mid-January of 2020, the bailouts were already running to the tune of 6.5 trillion, and very few people had really heard much at that time about WuFlu beyond some weird looking videos coming out of China showing people passing out in the street.

Shortly after that time frame, Operation WuFlu was put into effect, and all the excuses needed to cover for the fact that the international economic/financial ponzi scheme of debt was finally fracturing in a major way.

Up to this point, Trump had mostly ass whipped the Demrats on their own terms as far as playing politics goes. He'd beat them at their own game no matter what they threw at him for 3 years, and the Uniparty was in a panic.

So, the powers that be went to plan B (what the intelligence types call a contingency plan), and the rest is history.

Utter panic stricken fearmongering over a 99.7% survivable flu strain, lockdowns, church and business closures, masks and empty store shelves, "2 weeks to slow the spread" that lasted longer than two years, covid camps in MANY nations (and openly pushed for in this country), and the rest is history.

Unfortunately, Trump played politics, not realizing that the rules had changed, or not have the intestinal fortitude to stand up against it with his vast power as Commander in Chief and President of the United States. Either way, Trump played politics on WuFlu, and they burned him on it. We got Birx and Fauci, and a blinkered President who eventually realized that a terrible trap had been set for him that he walked right into, with Trump assuring the nation that Operation Warpspeed was moving right along and a vax was on the way to stop the dread disease.

Then while our economy and the international financial order was melting down from the double whammy of the collapse of international banking and covid lockdowns (destroying large swaths of national economies are the globe), the US was treated to burning cities and Burn Loot Murder and Antifa storm trooping about with almost no resistance. Funny how emptying the prisons and jails because of covid lies prior to these riots dovetailed so nicely with terror and arson in cities and communities across our nation.

Throw in a rigged election and other nonsense lies like J6, and it ought to be obvious that the powers that be ran Trump's ass out of DC on a rail car.

The fact that Trump did not drain the swamp is obvious; it took him down handily with nary a bit of push back from those who voted for him, and the swamp has really flexed its muscle ever since January 2020. Trump thought he was weathering the Deep State by winning the politcal game, not realizing or admitting that the shadow government (which extends beyond our national borders) had many more arrows in their quiver.

The guy that spent years telling people on TV that they were "fired" did almost no house cleaning in the branch he ought to have exercised his power over with ruthlessness.

OK, so he didn't reign in the fascist police because he thought he could work around them, or beat them at their own game after he won reelection, or whatever. Odd though that some of his first words when he won in 2016 was something along the lines of "I have no plans to go after the Clintons, they are fine people and its time to move on...).

Regardless of the politics up to the time Operation WuFlu went into effect, Trump played along on the scamdemic, and spent a long time afterward promoting the clot shots that have harming and killing people since. He let the country go to hell between the scamdemic and the riots and lockdowns and a rigged election and J6 crap, all the while never mentioning that behind the scenes the corrupt international financial banking and business order had gone bankrupt and was going to cause a financial globabl meltdown that is still ongoing.

Trump oversaw some better years, but if we were frank with ourselves, we would (finally) admit that his administration was an ultimately an utter failure, even if some of the events were out of his hands.

He went along with or played politics things that were EGREGIOUS violations of our Constitutional Rights. He did not effectively or forcefully fight back with every power available to him as POTUS, and allowed the likes of Birx and Faucii fearmonger the nation on WuFlu bullshit rather than firing them. He proved himself useless and powerless in one of the most tyrannical times this nation has ever seen.

And that I do not forgive.

Even if Trump was a viable political answer to some of our problems, the powers that be will NEVER let him inside the White House again or anywhere near the reigns of power. They'll kill him or imprison him first, and I don't seen anyone else that has their head screwed on to take on the entrenched political class that actually rules over us. The power is out of our hands at this point.

I will state this forthrightly. Our form of government has been usurped, the Constitution is a dead letter, and our political remedies are a farce. The Republic has fallen, and the slow roll of socialism that has been ongoing since Wilson and the creation of the Federal Reserve has permanently changed the fabric of this nation and neutered the very premises this nation was founded upon.

The government is not going to save us from itself, and apparently We the People are not even going to attempt to turn the tide and put down the facists who now rule over us.

The Fedcoats like to talk about how the "right wing extremists" want to overthrow the government, because those very same "extremists" make good whipping posts as those same "authorities" complete the usurpation of American Liberty and further entrench themselves in their ill gotten power and wealth.

Our government has been overthrown, but not by the MAGA hoards. Those who have already overthrown our government MUST keep the People from waking up and understanding that the power still (temporarily) rests with them. The powers that be MUST keep the illusion going that an insurrection is underway and "democracy is under threat," to hide the fact that they have pulled the wool over the People's eyes and blinded them to the fact that our Constitutional form of government has already been destroyed... by them!

Efforts to restore the Constitutional order are doomed to failure as long as we continue to play politics and ignore the fact that our country no longer remotely resembles what our Founders gave us.

Fairly or not, Trump was the last vestige of the old order where elections and politics mattered at all.

Its 2 years till the election. A lot is going to happen/

I believe Trump announced his candidacy now for 2 main reasons. First, it will make the commies' continued attacks look like even more of a partisan shitshow. Second, it will keep the heat on Trump, saving the other Republican contenders from the brunt of the commies' poop flinging. I could see the media backing the Republican #2 in an effort to weaken Trump. By primary time, Trump either survives 2 years worth of attacks and emerges even stronger, or gives his hand chosen pick a good head start.

Trump stated his Presidency was about giving the power back to the people. Well it looks like it is up to the people to take it back. Obviously every form of our Government has been high jacked leaving our voice and will negated. The time for correction is way past due.

Nah, just take a lesson from the Maricopa county "lets shut down the polls on election day" debacle.

What sort of reaction would the MSM have if instead a video about widespread stuffing of ballot boxes, it was about them being destroyed with all their ballots inside ?

They would have a fit about that, and there would be investigations that make the Jan 6th committee look like a car stereo theft.

Assuming they were in Blue districts anyway. As we saw with Maricopa, if they were in Red districts it would be just "well, learn to deal with it".

The Dems want DJT to win the primary. They want DJT to be the next candidate. DJT running will guarantee the potato or anyone else they put against Trump, a decisive win.

I voted for Trump twice. I would gladly, enthusiastically, and feverishly run to the polls naked, over burning coals, with everyone watching to cast my vote for Trump a third time.

Unfortunately I think it would be for naught. Trump is despised by the deep state. They fear him, for good reason. I don't want to lose '24 before the election even takes place. And that is exactly what will happen if Trump is the Rep candidate.

I would also gladly vote for DeSantis. I love his decision to send the illegals to Martha's Vineyard. He showed true moxie with that 'in your face' move. That was the spit in your eye move that showed he will do what's right.

As for a running mate for DeSantis. I like Gabbard only a little. I don't love her. I'd much rather see Candace Owens, Mike Rowe or even David Cawthorn.

We need to win the election, not make a statement. Trump had the benefit of both the Senate and House for his first two years. He got nothing notable accomplished. Having a stalemate for another four years would be a disaster. Trump running, and winning the nomination, would polarize the left to a magnitude that stealing the election might not even be needed.

Again, push come to shove I'd cast my third vote for the best president in my lifetime. However, we need results. If he doesn't win the election (which I seriously doubt), another four years of this potato, if he survives these four years, would be catastrophic for everyone.
