President Trump said Sunday he will announce steps to stop gun violence, as top Democrats raced to blame him for fomenting two mass shootings this weekend in Texas and Ohio with a toxic stew of violence and white nationalism, and pressed him for quick action on gun control.


After conferring Sunday with Attorney General William Barr, FBI Director Christopher A. Wray, state officials and lawmakers, the president said he will outline his proposals around 10 a.m. Monday.

We have a general education and values problem too.

I do believe perhaps not everyone should vote and folks would need to pass a minimum citizen qualification to be
able to be informed, objective and then vote and other things. ...I mean if we want to have a chance to have a civil society.
Also the political system is so biassed and corrupt that perhaps we should start cleaning house there?
But is this way because of the politicians or because the politicians are are a reflection of a complacent and decadent society?

I will pass a history, politics and civil exam. I think many people wont. Critical thinking and debate should be a huge
part of the education system. I would also restore mandatory service military or otherwise to help in the communities.
People know a lot about their rights but very little or nothing about their obligations.

In reality, the only system that works really well is the traditional tribe and village system. We are hardwired for it.
