Any future "deals" should be treated as treaties and referred to the senate for ratification.

International? Pffffttt! This was never a treaty ratified by our senate. It was simply an agreement that was unilaterally accepted by a temporary president on behalf of the United States. It was not legally binding upon the U.S.

It's not breaking anything by withdrawing! The only ones who could break it are the ones (Iran) the treaty was designed to control. So Iran can now enrich uranium... Let them, then let's see what happens!
The world follows International law, it doesn't follow U.S. law. How it was made is our problem. We rely on other countries for sanctions. They don't have to re-institute sanctions now.
Here is where we are at. We already fulfilled most of our part of the deal. Iran's frozen assets were released and sanctions were lifted. Now we break the deal when it is Iran's turn to comply. There must be something going on behind the scene. It just doesn't make any sense.
BTW. We didn't give Iran any money. That was a spin. We released their assets, which were frozen after embassy take over in 1979.

Understood.
But, the U.S. is (for now) the largest economy in the world. So, countries that want to trade with us will follow our lead. We just need to inform other nations that if they do not follow our sanctions, their trade with the U.S., and fiscal transactions with U.S. institutions, could be adversely affected.

The rest of the world can call it a treaty. But, as you know, treaties are specifically noted in our constitution. This "deal" was not a legally executed treaty in the U.S. So, the U.S. is not obliged to remain within the agreement.
The problem was created by Obama. Any ramifications from this point forward are still his fault. We should not have been in the "agreement" in the first place.

You can argue "it was their money" if you want to but I believe they are still on the hook for a barrel full of payments to terrorism victims that they've never paid, and never intend to, no?

Iran had nothing to do with 9/11. It was actually Saudi government officials who WERE involved and Saudi Arabia was given a pass. Our rogue court pulled that one out of its ass.
This is not how it works.
No that's not how the world works. When a country makes a deal, it is stuck with it, even if there is a revolution not to mention a normal election cycle.
