Washington D.C. is considered federal land. It is a federal district, not a state, and is under the exclusive jurisdiction of the U.S. Congress.

Constitutional Mandate: The Constitution dictates that the nation's capital be a federal district under the exclusive jurisdiction of Congress

It was a major mistake for the federal government to sell any land in DC to anyone.

I am strongly against the use of eminent domain, but if there was ever a case for it, it's those DC neighborhoods.

Both before and after WWII, the SW DC area was subjected to massive urban renewal, displacing many black ghettos and tens of thousands of blacks.

Many suburban housing areas were developed for whites, in the area, very regulated.

There are still many ghetto areas in DC and surrounding Va and Maryland..............

Only by law enforcement can the area be controlled.................Marion Berry was a champ for DC.

Wouldn’t it be great if Trump takes over DC, it gets cleaned up and the liberals make it the 51st state, and because Trump cleaned it up they go Republican. Then the dems lose control as a result. All while they are screaming about states rights and democracy

The war has started that the libs feared by a Dictator.......a dictator is one who enforces the laws vs minorities.

Carjacking and murder in DC, no longer will be go free, and don't do it again, too many times.

The end of cashless bail for Fed crimes, even in NYS, is likely coming, and the war vs Mandami has started................. and all of his Hamas followers nationwide, and the NGO's supporting illegals, and who are interferring with ICE deportations.

"DC" stands for "Dominantly Colored" and generally as a People, they just can't have or keep things nice; sounds prejudice or raciest, but a trip through any Black Neighborhood overwhelmingly supports the assertion.
Invariably these big Cities are overseen by Democrats in positions of Power and Control, with prima facie would indicate equality, acceptance, and reverence for all, soon you'll become aware of invisible boundaries that aren't to be crossed under threat of violence and bodily injury...Democrats see themselves as above, better than anyone else while sneering, denigrating, and deriding those they claim to be helping the most....Least that's the way it was/is in many parts of the South...DC isn't any different.

The war between black and white is now raging, again, as if it ever stopped.

We do not have a country, with 120 black nations operating like Haiti; we have lawless insurrections.

Only more prisons, not fewer, high bail, and convictions will stem the tide of crime.

If anyone in the crowd breaks the law or causes a tort, that should make the company liable.

They would go out of business real quick if they were getting sued for the full cost of the broken windows and police response, plus punitive damages.
