Trump just laid the ground work for an acceptable declaration of a nation emergency. He just handed the dems what they want and they are now saying its not enough or are not agreeing to the deal. The dems are their own worst enemy. Trump just went on national tv and offered a fair deal. The dems are rejecting it.

The Democrats released their rejection statement BEFORE trump made his address!!! Think of that .they rejected it without even hearing what he had to say or talking it over or thinking about it.
When we have 2 sides who can't even talk as adults and one of then refuses to even consider a compromise then we are one step closer to civil war 2
At least Trump appears to be trying to keep his promises, and has offered a fair deal. Without some DemonRat defectors, his offer is dead meat. I'm just watching which Repubs go full RINO and vote with the Dems. They're done come the next election.

Pres. Trump just backed the DummyRATS into a corner. The reason they are rejecting Pres. Trumps offer is because they can't 'give" him another WIN. he is literally the only President in the last 70 years to keep his promise to the people. If they cave now, they lose ALL POWER and all respect. And thats their biggest problem right now. Pres. Trump put it out there publically so they can't refute anything he proposes. he has made a very fair offer and they rejected it out-of-hand.

I'd like to see him have the senate pass a bill with the wall and all the other stuff he tossed in, let the house refuse to consider it, then send them the same bill without the wall and build it either with the military or an emergency action. Then the dems will be on record doing nothing to help the illegal immigrants and Trump and the Republican party will be their new buddy. And the wall still gets built.

since Trump was elected, regardless of his mistakes or achievements, and according to the Dems, he is always in the wrong.
This is not about anything other than contradicting Trump on everything.
The entire Democratic platform is about contradicting Trump, nothing else.
What is really sad is that so many republicans have been joining this Anti-Trump movement what
gives more proof there is something very sinister going on with the establishment formed by career politicians, lobby,
corporations and all those who pay for their campaigns, secure their futures while they lie to the clueless sheep who
let themselves prostitute in exchange for votes.
It is all a big machine of power, favors, disinformation and ultimately to screw up the average working family.
The system is badly broken because of the current lack of ethics. There is no protection in the constitution for
this type of behavior we see in all branches of government. "We the people" means nothing to them.
We are all screwed.

I'd prefer not to wind up in a camp two years from now because some dem POTUS declares an "emergency" because they can't get the votes they need in Congress for some fucked up policy *I* disagree with.

Trump is the only one coming up with deals and solutions. The democrats are too busy taking vacations. They don't care about the Armerican people and if nothing else comes from this whole shut down fiasco, its that Democrates are a hypocritical, non-caring party that only seeks to tell you what you want to hear to secure your vote. They don't actually care about you. Trump is doing a great job at exposing them for what they are.
