Trump had a great day doing this, he has done more inviting all these families to the White House then can be said. He is a man of action, and unfortunately even people on this board doubts him. He is not a Romney pro gunner but a true pro-gunner. He will make decisions to help prevent this from happening again and not cause any more gun regulations. Have faith for Christ sake!!!

Unless we as a Nation are ready to completely revamp ALL that we do and know, violence will never go away. These types of shootings will continue, shootings in the inner city will continue and honest, good people will be gunned down in the streets.

No one thing will end this.

Americans are NOT willing to do all that needs to be done.

As in all things political, compromise is a requirement. Nobody gets everything they want, but most everyone gets something. Reagan signed the FOPA. We got fair interstate transportation of our personal firearms, they got a ban on the future sale and purchase of new NFA full auto weapons.

I heard a sound bite on the radio coming home of a student proclaiming at a rally that by passing more gun laws he wants to make sure this will NEVER happen again. Yes, we will NEVER again have innocent people shot. And CNN thinks these individuals should be allowed to vote lol.

Too me, this is far beyond the Second Amendment. Bump stocks, different triggers; whatever. This is out of control. Things need to change in these united States and they need to change sooner than later.

I agree, bump stocks are not something we need to put on the do not touch list. There is going to have to be some give and take. I'm okay with putting the bump stock on the table. This would leave the anti's speechless, thus allowing us to do the right things here. Armed security and faculty and protecting our kids and grandkids!

Its not going to change not for the better anyway. I have realized a long time ago that we are the dying remnants. The New Order cattle will replace us and blissfully graze in serfdom secure in the illusion of safety and security.
Nothing short of a successfully prosecuted civil war or a peaceable division of the Nation will prevent this.

Exactly. I don't go around murdering people, because it's immoral and serves no legitimate purpose. The punishment for being caught prosecuted is a secondary consideration. But I have to admit, I've gotten real used to jumping in my truck and running to the store for a 12 pack when I wanna.

Yes, but unfortunately we don't respond that way to the internal crisis tearing apart the best nation on this planet. Instead each tribe tries to preserve it's little cut of the nation from the encroachment of the others, whether real or perceived. We need not see color or creed ever, but with the self serving political class it is all we are allowed to see, that and all the other foolish labels and contrived special titles.
