Trump can nudge the Supreme Court to take up certain issues and he can choice to appoint individuals who he knows will support his initiatives. Once his appointees are in place, bring SAFE to the supreme court. Hey, wait, that's the way the system is suppose to work. The supreme court would probably rule on multiple, similar issues from other states all at once. They only need to rule that bans of this type or that are unconstitutional and many of the state restrictions fall by the way side. Right now, Trump is showing that he meant what he said in the promises he made. It is important for the Gun lobby to put pressure on him in front of the public. He will react. We just need to wait for the proper appointments to take place.

The Second Amendment Foundation has hopes that Attorney General Sessions (a REAL Conservative not a phony one like most GOP senators) will start suing states like: NY, CA, MA, NJ, etc., on their laws that violate the 2nd Amendment, it could happen, Sessions was ALWAYS good on gun rights.

He's already rolled back the FHA Mortgage insurance Premium reduction, re-invigorated the construction of the Keystone Pipeline, curtailed the EPA, etc., and plans on building his wall.
How about restoring our Rights while you're sledgehammering the previous Administrations decisions? If even just a little.

What he can do without congress is get the justice department to go after all the civil rights violations that states and localities are committing.
If some city decided all blacks were banned from riding the bus you can bet it wouldn't take years to get that case to SCOTUS. The federal DOJ would bring suit directly, that's what needs to happen with the 2A as well.

Buddy if you think your right to buy a genuine AK outweighs the other damages he rolled back in those EO's you need to stop and look at things a bit better. I would let that slide for months if not years while allowing my decimated fellow citizens get relief on those issues. Grow up. I really wish that ALL Americans would understand that the entire Permit Process, in EVERY State is wrong. I do not believe that enough understand this. The People of America are stupid and full of ignorance. The VAST majority have no concept of our Rights or our Constitution. I have never claimed to be an almighty Constitutionalist, I have a good working idea of many parts to our Founding Documents. I fully understand that any Permitting is unlawful. National carry would be great, but is still not a good thing.
Even within our own gun community, there are many who feel that we should have Permits and Background checks and safe storage and many other safeguards; I say to hell with ALL of them!

I agree, RKBA is *more* fundamental a right than voting. Any restriction that wouldn't pass muster on voting shouldn't be allowed for RKBA either.
I would love to see some 2A friendly states enact voting or abortion restrictions using the pistol permit wording, with an intention that they be overruled and set the precedent.
What would left say about "may issue" abortion permits ?
