God bless America
I read the statements from now though. That is what's pertinent. Years ago I wasn't interested in guns either. He's Trump, have any of you read his statements years ago? Not exactly solid on the 2nd. I'll believe it when i see it.
The unsafe rally a few years back?If I recall I remember a Certain Now President Flying over the Protest crowds at a gun rally?
The irony in this statement is stunning considering that what it was!We need some long-lasting defense of the 2a, not just EOs that can be undone.
God, i hope so!The Second Amendment Foundation has hopes that Attorney General Sessions (a REAL Conservative not a phony one like most GOP senators) will start suing states like: NY, CA, MA, NJ, etc., on their laws that violate the 2nd Amendment, it could happen, Sessions was ALWAYS good on gun rights.
The funny thing is, most Americans, like you and many others on this forum think this is a difficult process. No insult behind that.
This is soooooooooo easy! We already have the law, it is called the Second Amendment! Yeah, yeah, it sounds too simple; that's the point, it is that simple.
A couple/few correct Judges in the correct places will ensure all can and will fall into place! What he is wanting, what we as gun owners are wanting is not to reinvent the wheel, we want what is ours on paper already.
Trump and Congress can make ALL of this happen within a month if they really want to. Any and all States that refuse to bend to the Federal Government can and will forego all Federal Dollars until they comply. This is not an overreach of the Federal Government! The 2A is a Federal, not a State issue!
The Feds say and the States need to comply, yes sir, it really is that simple!
Tell me I am wrong!
What he can do without congress is get the justice department to go after all the civil rights violations that states and localities are committing. We need some long-lasting defense of the 2a, not just EOs that can be undone.
A simple ruling that LEOSA unfairly excludes non LEOs would do it. Equal protection and all. This is actually pretty simple as well. Follow the basic ideas within LEOSA. We can carry in every State, but there are still some State laws that we need to follow. Some falls upon Personal Responsibility!
Sessions is already in? Wikipedia must be behind then. The Second Amendment Foundation has hopes that Attorney General Sessions (a REAL Conservative not a phony one like most GOP senators) will start suing states like: NY, CA, MA, NJ, etc., on their laws that violate the 2nd Amendment, it could happen, Sessions was ALWAYS good on gun rights.
I'm still waiting for a bone here.
didn't Obama use EOs to effectively ban imports of surplus rifles? Why hasn't Trump rolled that one back, at the very least? He's already rolled back the FHA Mortgage insurance Premium reduction, re-invigorated the construction of the Keystone Pipeline, curtailed the EPA, etc., and plans on building his wall.
How about restoring our Rights while you're sledgehammering the previous Administrations decisions? If even just a little.
vindicate our voting for you, because without that, you may find the Dems gaining ground back in upcoming elections.
New York is a lost cause. Wait for retirement then move out. There are some states that it's easier to get a pistol permit than a library card.Great!!! At least that's 4 years of no attacks on our 2A freedoms from the federal level !!
Now if only something positive would happen in NY.

I agree, RKBA is *more* fundamental a right than voting. Any restriction that wouldn't pass muster on voting shouldn't be allowed for RKBA either.Kind of, yes. This is one of the reasons I say use the LEOSA law as a start to Nationwide carry.
I really wish that ALL Americans would understand that the entire Permit Process, in EVERY State is wrong. I do not believe that enough understand this. The People of America are stupid and full of ignorance. The VAST majority have no concept of our Rights or our Constitution. I have never claimed to be an almighty Constitutionalist, I have a good working idea of many parts to our Founding Documents. I fully understand that any Permitting is unlawful. National carry would be great, but is still not a good thing.
Even within our own gun community, there are many who feel that we should have Permits and Background checks and safe storage and many other safeguards; I say to hell with ALL of them!
I respect that position sir.Kind of, yes. This is one of the reasons I say use the LEOSA law as a start to Nationwide carry.

They sent in the national guard to integrate schools. All we need is a DOJ that will criminally prosecute state officials who violate our rights.Guys miss the prize while eating all the crackerjacks... Lol
Strict scrutiny fixes all you're discussing! But there's a bigger problem as evident in the responses by the SCOTUS ruling in the MA/Stun Gun case. They note how States have ignored previous "guidance" in rulings such as Heller... So they expose a flaw exploited by Obama, that even the country's highest court, authority on Law and Rights... Has NO TEETH! Even if laws are made relaxing current restrictions, who's going to enforce that? As states such as NY declare their own sovereignty to resist Federal Rule, what then? I can bet, in the future, if the SCOTUS sways Right due to replacements appointed through the current administration and Congress, that you'll see States do just that! They will, CA has already assembled legal teams to combat Trump edicts, lol... Ultimately, that would lead to mass migration resettlement through your the States as like minds congregate together... I'm talking way past when it would ever matter to me, decades or more. But there are some forces at play, ever so nimble, but you can see them, feel them... Just don't know where it may lead.
In the mean time we will squabble over the scraps they throw at us and enjoy it.
The peasants going to the store to buy normal 30rd magazines, excorted by the national guard. -I would be shedding tears of joy. They sent in the national guard to integrate schools. All we need is a DOJ that will criminally prosecute state officials who violate our rights.
