Fux News sold its soul to the government when it called Arizona for Biden at something like 5% of the vote counted, and the Dominion payoff and the firing of Tucker Carlson is nothing more than the government calling in a marker to shut the guy up.
Bet on it that RINO Paul Ryan who sits on the board of Fux News was part and parcel of that decision. He is Uniparty all the way, helped to facilitate the betrayal of Republican voters when he was Speaker of the House by undermining the Trump administration at every turn and playing along with Russia Russia Russia etc., and making sure any kind of conservative or Constitutional legislative agenda either never made it to the floor of the House, or didn't have the votes if it did get to the floor.
Bill O'Reilly is saying this is all about the money the Dominion settlement cost Fux, but I don't buy that. That is cutting your nose off to spite your face. You're going to destroy your revenue even further by firing the BIGGEST talking head who has ever been on cable news, with ratings through the roof and huge audiences, guaranteeing ad revenue during his time slot? So kill off your best money maker when you're already bleeding money?

O'Reilly is correct though that this is going to put a kink in getting the news out to the conservative and religious voters who are going to vote for Trump come hell or high water. That is the real talking point.

Not sure that any of this matters. I don’t even watch TV anymore. So I could care less either way. But from what I’ve read they had text messages if Carlson saying he hates Trump behind closed doors then kissing his ass in public (like most republicans). Tucker Carlson won’t tank Fox. His predecessor (Bill Oreilly) had a much bigger audience and was much more of a force and they survived.

the problem is, FOX is still paying him for another two years, and in his agreement with FOX, he can not go to any other news outlet until his contract is up with FOX.

There is no way Carlson is off the air for two years. He probably will gladly forego the $$ from Fox with his next gig, which will probably exceed his current contract. If fox thinks they can shut him up for 2 years they are dumber than I thought.

his contract is still in force, Reportedly they are paying him for the next two years, Im surprised Tucker didn't have an attorney AND a agent to look over any contract he may have had with FOX. I suspect the next place he lands, he will have an iron clad contract
